I don't need anything, but it is self evident and undeniable that who you sleep with is a choice. I am attracted to lots of people that i choose not to sleep with.

 

You missed my point which is that there is lots of human behavior that we don't "choose". In fact, the very idea of a cognitive "choice" as in choosing to go left or right, sit down or stand up, is quite a difficult nut to crack thanks to a fallacy called the cartesian theatre. It posits that there is some mini you inside your brain that is directing all of these things, when in reality that idea necessitates an infinite number of mini yous in each one of those guys.

I've known several gay people, and what they've told me is that it isn't all that great. I can see how it would be terrible to try and pretend to be attracted to a gender you find as sexually stimulating as a cockroach (sorry guys), but the suicide and depression rates among gays tells me that there's something not all that wonderful about being gay.
