    Just FYI: https://fiscal.treasury.gov/public/gifts-to-government.html

From the link: "Citizens who wish to make a general donation to the U.S. government may send contributions to a specific account called "Gifts to the United States."

This account was established in 1843 to accept gifts, such as bequests, from individuals wishing to express their patriotism to the United States. Money deposited into this account is for general use by the federal government and can be available for budget needs."

You are going to lie on your 1040? There is a line for tax due or tax refund. There isn't a line for donating to the IRS.

We are talking about the IRS here. Do stay focus.

No you just don’t have to ask for your refund and you can donate to the Federal Govt at any other time as well. The Dept of Tres will gladly take your money

So trump has never lied? Is isn’t golfing more than any other president in the history of the US?

I will give you, shitty human being is an option — albeit one that is shared by the majority of people.

    Why?

No need to create new legislation to force other rich people to pay more when they can just give ALL their money to the poor and leave other rich people alone.

The IRS is just a way to funnel money from us into the treasury.

But that does not do anything for the neighborhood. If everyone did not take care of their property your property is affected, no matter how nice your lawn.

the point is you can mow your own lawn but if the neighbors don't take care of thier property, your property value is devalued. Wanting every neighbor to do more so that all values rise is the point.

Trump's net worth went down after he took office and Lefties were saying he's a lousy businessman. I can't keep up, is he getting rich from the office or is he losing money?

Historically massive disparities in wealth are the cause of revolutions that overthrow the established ruling order of their times.

No, I get that....but at the same time, I'm not gonna let someone else determine what I want...if I want a nice yard, I'll continue to take care of it. If Sores et al, want to give more of their money to the feds...they can....they can start today....and at the same time push for higher taxes

The market for maids, gardeners, chauffeurs, etc is getting tight with tougher border enforcement. The only way to keep demand under control is to make it impossible for people to accumulate wealth. Large corporations also want the government to tax future competition out of existence. That's also what's behind the $15 / hour minimum wage.

    Nothing to see here.

Historically, massive wealth disparity was the difference between having a degree of wealth and comfort on the rich side and starving, barefoot and in rags. Today's "poor" in the U.S. have a lot more to lose by revolting than they did historically. The poorest people in the U.S. are among the top 30 percent of the richest people in the world.

His net worth went down because they realized he is probably lying about basic financials. Forbes wrote him down almost a billion over it.

I never said he was getting rich, but he is fleecing the taxpayers.

You don’t have to be a ‘stable genius’ (as he calls himself) to be a conman.

No one has ever said he was smart. You realize there is a difference between being a good businessman and a conman, right?

Which is why the "revolution" will take place at the ballot box instead of the way it occurred in the past.

Bernie Sanders began the "revolution" in 2016. It has resulted in Progressives winning and Establishment candidates losing. It will continue in an orderly process until the goals of empowering the lives of the middle and lower classes reach a point where they no longer lead lives of "quiet desperation".

Sadly, Bernie and those who support him are somewhat muddled when it comes to economics. For example, he wants to make college "free", although he never actually explains that he's not going to be the one paying all those salaries. Does he mean the federal government which is some 22 trillion in debt?

No, he obviously can't mean that. So just where does he plan on getting all this free money? From the ultra rich, I reckon. Except well..

Yeah okay lefties. The ultra rich are just going to pay for everything Bernie promises because they like you guys.

    That's the winning ticket!!!!

note to mods: see how I'm now agreeing with lefties? I think they're the smartest people in the room by a long shot!
