A cure for cancer is unlikely to come by the power of the will, fervent desire, goodness of the heart, or the sheer throwing of money at it.

It always comes back to a poor idea, 11 million of them.
This is why no one can take Trumpets seriously. Assuming we are willing to spend the billions of dollars to attempt such a feat, the country would fall into a deep recession at some point. This is why repugnants are such poor administrators.

 

Cancer is a general term for a large group of diseases. There isn't even a clear cut definition of cancer. To solve a problem it must first be understood without a lot of guessing. Some 200 billion a year is invested in private research. Some cancers are better understood than others and some also some to be more treatable. Good progress has been made and that will continue as long as the research is profitable and unimpeded by needless government regulation.

 

Democrats just passed a budget of some 4 plus billion to make them more comfortable when they get there. If we want them gone we can surely get them gone.
