Just yesterday I wondered why the 2020 democrats drifted away from pandering to blacks for votes to pandering to illegals to buy their votes. Harris must have heard me and moved back to pandering to blacks with a plan to buy their votes.

Is there anything the 2020 democrats are proposing that doesn't include spending taxpayer money on buying votes?

By the way, this is discriminatory and racist. Prove me wrong.

"If we eliminate racial wealth disparities in homeownership rates, median Black wealth would grow $32,113 per household, and the wealth gap between Black and white households would shrink 31 percent," her campaign said.

The program would target residents in red-lined communities -- areas the Home Owners' Loan Corporation has dissuaded lenders from investing in -- which her campaign identified as a culprit behind wealth disparities.

This and free healthcare for illegals.

This is an example of the left trying to buy votes through pandering.

They're trying to buy votes from specific groups using our money, those groups being blacks, people who can't afford the cost of Obamacare and illegals - next up they'll be trying to buy the votes of Muslims.

We never see conservatives pander to specific races, genders or religions, that's a liberal thing. They tell them they're victims, blame it on white people and the left eats it up.

"Kamala Harris unveils $100 billion black homeownership plan"

I do not support such a plan, racist plans are bad, help all working class people regardless of color own homes

imagine if Trump came out with a plan

"Donald Trump unveils $100 billion White homeownership plan"

    both are just as wrong.....

"Michayla Thomas, a 20-year-old business student at Florida State University who's burdened by student debt, called access to housing and homeownership a "big problem" in the black community. She's grateful that Harris' proposal could provide young black people with more options"

If you're a full time student, you dont have to pay back your loans until you have graduated or dropped out...

So how could she be burdened with student loan debt? Did she drop out? Or did she graduate at 20?

Bush did not force banks to give these loans to the poor in the past, he just relaxed regulations so they could.....

    https://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/21/business/worldbusiness/21iht-admin.4.18853088.html

"From his earliest days in office, Bush paired his belief that Americans do best when they own their own homes with his conviction that markets do best when left alone. Bush pushed hard to expand home ownership, especially among minority groups, an initiative that dovetailed with both his ambition to expand Republican appeal and the business interests of some of his biggest donors. But his housing policies and hands-off approach to regulation encouraged lax lending standards."

"Bush Ties Policy to Record Home Ownership" March 26, 2004

    https://www.foxnews.com/story/bush-ties-policy-to-record-home-ownership

"Late last year, Bush signed the American Dream Down Payment Act (search) to help families that can afford monthly mortgage payments but not the down payment or closing costs associated with buying a house. The legislation authorizes $200 million a year in down payment assistance to at least 40,000 low-income families."

this sounds like the Bush plan with a racist spin to it as it would only be available to black people, whites need not apply

the debt is still there before you graduate, you just don't have to start paying right away

but the issue I have with her statement is that

"She's grateful that Harris' proposal could provide young black people with more options"

I would like to see all young adults regardless of the color of their skin get help like this, not just certain races

other then white nationalists, gun fanatics, fanatical Christians, the rich.... the list goes on

both sides do it, but discriminating on race, gender or religion is wrong

How can you be burdened by something you arent even paying on?

I have student loans. I'm not burdened. I'm not paying on them until I graduate, and even when I do, I've already got a great job (she could have too), so I dont see the problem.

it's a burden to know the debt is there and that one day you will have to pay it back - sure it will be more of a financial burden later when you have to start paying it back

it's a burden to whites and blacks alike.. unless they have rich parents that can foot the bill for them

Shouldnt be if the degree she is getting is worth a ****, which I'm assuming it isn't.

But if that is the case, every person in America is burdened.

Car loans, mortgages, cell phone bills...

What a depressed country we are.

The Democrats in the city of Los Angeles raised taxes to build affordable housing and with $1 billion dollars in the bank not one affordable house or apartment has been built. NOT ONE !

What's this thing I keep hearing about the homeless industrial complex where liberals become millionaires providing services to the homeless ?

it's always a burden.. but yes, you can say it's a burden that was worth it if you get a good job because of it

many schools nowadays push to many non-essential courses to up their profits
