How did they determine the blackness? Did they only check in indoor lighting? Or did they make each applicant stand out in the sun?

The taxpayer benefited from the 100's of millions of settlements each bank sometimes paid, and not the victim for being black. And so you rather have the taxpayer get the money, instead of the victim because the victim is black? Can you clarify?

Someone with poor credit, low income, and a higher rate of default isn't a victim for being turned down on a home loan.

This is another marxist pandering scam, with overt racism.

why women pay less for car insurance
    https://www.esurance.com/info/car/why-women-pay-less-for-car-insurance

    risk assessment
as I mentioned before blacks are almost twice as likely to default on a loan then whites so you don't think a lending institution should be allowed to factor that in during their risk assessment

so auto insurance companies are allowed to factor in sex and age in their risk assessment on insurance rates which both happen to be protected classes
but a lending institution isnt allowed to factor in race in there risk assessment determination?

in the old days the way a white person looked (clean shaven, nice outfit, ect..) or talked could effect the loan outcome.... that has change due to lawsuits like you describe of blacks being discriminated against, most is automated now, it's all based on your numbers now - this change is good for blacks and whites.... and why online banking loans are now possible

Could it be that Kamala is feeling guilty that her ancestors owned slaves?

that is still discrimination as not all men are risky drivers and not all women are safer drivers - shoudl not be allowed

I have a son and a daughter, why shoudl one pay less then the other when they both have the same driving record?

I like some of her policy but she has also backed reparations based on skin color. “A 2016 poll by Marist College commissioned by WGBH radio station in Boston found that 68 percent of Americans do not think reparations should be paid to the descendents of slaves, compared with 26 percent who said they should.”

It’s a bad policy. I am fine with low income based policy to help people struggling but am against all policy or special privileges based on race, gender, religion, or orientation. Treat all people equally

This is starting to shape up like the year Dukakis ran on the Dem ticket.....I think they will take New York, Massachusetts and California with this platform.........after that I just don’t see it for them. Sad, I was hoping for a competitive and interesting Presidential election in 2020.

I am as much American than anyone on here but ok.
But yes, I will absolutely “bounce” if our duopoly runs the country into the ground.

My voting patterns are fairly evenly split, if not leaning conservative — having voted almost exclusively Republican in local and state elections, 1 Republican Presidential vote, 2 Democrat Presidential votes, and two Independent Presidential votes.

I do not support reparations, some do, but it will never pass either way.... most in Congress would all have to want it... and they do not

after the last debate I thought she might be a rising star in the primaries, but with policies like this.... wont happen

course there are many candidates, republicans got Trump in those circumstances, so never know

when the end came it was a choice between Ted and Donald... not much of a choice, same could happen to dems

“In addition, Citibank also initiated and “largely completed” a reimbursement plan to compensate all of the customers who did not receive the RLP benefit, as they should have.

According to the OCC, Citibank will provide reimbursement of approximately $24 million to 24,000 customers as a result of the bank’s “failures and control weaknesses.”

    You are not even trying...

Discrimination is bad and I am against In in all forms, we should not counter discrimination with more discrimination.

That is.... in ADDITION. It still means the previous amount goes to the taxpayers.
Do note that these lawsuits have only been done since... about 2005 or so.
The US government has failed to protect the black community for decades on end.
Where the white community benefited with their privileged lives.

The other way of looking at this, is that white people have been given preferential financial treatment, and the government looked the other way.

This will probably increase her position in the primaries.

She's setting the pandering tone right now.

Yep, prostituting yourself to nab the black vote in the primaries is one thing........walking it back in a debate with Trump is another thing....
