    The AfroFuture music and arts festival in Detroit is facing controversy after ticket sales began to use different pricing for people based on the color of their skin.

    The pricing offers lower rates for tickets purchased by "people of color" than it does for "non-people of color." Early bird tickets for "POC" are $10 and $20 for "Non POC." Later date pricing offers "POC" tickets for $20 and "Non POC" tickets for $40.


    I am no longer understanding the narrative, so the goal is no longer equality as it once was but special and preferential treatment. Affirmative action, employment quotas, educational quotas, reparations, pricing structures, housing supplements... While this absolutely violates portions of the CRA will the courts even care?

    What’s the end goal here?

    It remain me that cafe run by feminists that made male pay more than women. The cafe went bankruptcy (probably the patriarchy).

    Same causes will lead to same consequences.

    Furthermore, it show the true face of liberals, so it's quite nice.

    This is the definition of racism.

    It also shows how liberals don't think black people are capable or smart enough to earn a good income, or at least enough for the ticket. Just like they think black people are too stupid to get an I.D. to vote. They sure don't seem to think very highly of black people.

    Ice hockey is clearly a "white" sport. The NHL should set ticket prices accordingly:

    Whites: $50
    Hispanics: $75
    Blacks: $100
    Muslims: $150

    The formerly oppressed are often the worst oppressors. You have to expect this sort of thing as balance is achieved.

    In pre-trump America, I would say this is a flash in the pan. But trump and his minions have opened the bottle of hate and intolerance and poured it out all over the country. Who knows what will happen now.
