I remember years ago, before the Brits stopped reporting on it-asked a pakistani man in London why he moved to the UK, if he was so unhappy with Britain.

He responded by saying the UK belonged to him, everything in europe did-so he will do as he pleases.

 

Because blacks historically lean mostly left and they’ve been convinced Democrats are here to help them when they’re really just using them by keeping them dependent on govt handouts.

No. It’s been decades of excellent marketing and outright lies that have convinced far too many black people that Republicans are racist. And of course extreme pandering, identity politics and using victimization. Hard to get historically uneducated people to get on your side when the other side tells them every problem they have is because of white people and often Republicans.

Look, they’re pushing reparations now. How much lower and deceitful can Democrats sink? If you’re poor and relatively unaware, who would you vote for? The people claiming it’s not your fault and pushing to give you free stuff or the guys treating you the same as everyone else and saying NO, you’re NOT special. If you don’t know any better the easy way out is the first choice, sad to say.

And Republicans don’t pluck nobodies with no experience or qualifications to run either...like AOC, for example. Omar at least had political experience.

The reason there is a humanitarian crisis at the border is because hundreds of thousands of Central Americans are flocking there, trying to gain entry into the U.S. And the Democrats’ hysteria over “separated children” and “people in cages” has not deterred them one whit.

Would Central Americans having no legal right to emigrate to the U.S. try desperately to enter our country if they thought we were a racist nation that would treat them worse than dogs? Apparently Omar thinks illegal immigrants are too dumb to hate America the way she does.

Her district is swarming with Somali's. There is no Republican that can ever be elected in this heavily gerrymandered district. That said, this woman is so hateful of this country it may be the best advertising campaign poster that President Trump and those in the districts around her could ever create.

The thing that continually perplexes me about the next generation of woke leftists is that they apparently want to turn every white 1st world nation on the planet to a brown utopia by overwhelming them with diversity immigrants. It was meant as a hypothetical question. And, honestly, if I were to list what I deemed as a change in American values, it would only start a side thread of 'us and them'. I have no interest in that...

 

Fair enough, but I do think it would make an excellent discussion, but you are right, just maybe not in this thread.

However, in regards to American values, I would say this country is much more progressive (not the political connotation) towards the rights of people much more than most other parts of the world. Sure, there are setbacks and challenges, but we are progressing. Unfortunately, some people will look at a few diseased trees and say the whole forest is decrepit.
