It's not only discrimination, but also racism too?!! This phrase Trump used is being condemned across the country too?!! Where is the outage GOP?!!

The House on Tuesday voted to formally condemn President Trump's racist tweets telling Democratic congresswoman of color to "go back" to where they came from. But long before that, the federal agency charged with enforcing anti-discrimination laws offered up that phrase as an example of potentially illegal harassment.

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) specifically cites the phrase "Go back to where you came from" as the type of language that could violate anti-discrimination employment laws in certain circumstances. The phrase is nearly identical to what Mr. Trump wrote in his tweets about the congresswomen: "Why don't they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came."

Like the Unassuming Colored Guy, Ken Hamblin, used to say, "Pick a better country."

Then motate to it by land, sea, or air.

I wonder what they have to say about go back and help fix the problems there and then come back here and show us how it’s done?

I don’t know the answer on that as they didn’t answer that question at all.

Manufactured outrage by the Left, but they're still going to lose. "Racist" is the buzz word for the week. I read where MSM has said it over 2200 times this week. Goebbals would be proud. By next week, I am sure the Left will be fixated on another word.....I smell desperation.. I am sure you have heard the phrase "America, love it or leave it." The Odd Squad don't seem to love it from their rhetoric. Now Omar wants Congress to endorse BDS. Do you agree with antiSemitism?

    I know one isn’t.

I’d imagine his utter obliviousness to other things made him not realize they aren’t all from foreign lands. He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed, you know?

I agree with the EEOC. Saying "go back to where you came from" to someone in the workplace COULD be viewed as violating anti-discrimination employment laws.

However, Trump's comments had nothing to do with employment laws. You also state that Trump's comments were NEARLY the same. That implies they are not the same....and they are not. If people focus on just a select portion of his comments, you might have a point. However, if people actually look at the whole context of his comment, it can be view as something completely different from actual racism.

The claims of "racism" are overused. While there are certainly act of racism perpetrated by people, the calls of "racism" have reached point where it is used as a means to win an argument or discredit the person the "victim" disagrees with.

Outrage is more of a trait of the other party. Snowflake is the accepted term for those who are easily outraged. While the comment was in bad taste, it was an attack on politics, not race.

Focusing on Trump's comments reveal they are discriminatory and racist.

Such only applies with regard to matters of employment. Therefore, it is not discriminatory language.

Perhaps because these individuals conduct themselves in a manner that suggests they do not have the best interest of the united states or its citizens at heart, and rather are more concerned about the interests of foreign nations.

It's neither racist nor discriminatory. It's good advice. If you don't like it here, leave.

Why didn’t trump take his own advice? His entire campaign was based on the premise that America isn’t great.
