We understand cells very well, and we understand people very well. Its more likely that cats are actually secretly dogs than cells are people.

And even if your conspiracy theory is right, abortion will be the least of our moral troubles. Contraception and condoms kills far more cells than abortion ever does, so we will need a contraception ban before abortion. We will also have to ban all chemicals or products that kill any bacteria and be forced to live in a way that minimizes cell death. You think a carbon tax is bad, just wait until we get our cell death tax and regulations.

Reality and common sense dictate that a born human becomes a "Being" and is given the rights that entails. Until that time it is first a Zygote, then an Embryo and eventual a Fetus until born. These however are technical and biological designations which do not carry the emotional message having a "Baby" inspires so many (including me) will often use the term baby at any time during a pregnancy. I usually said by wife was carrying our baby if asked as would most people and it was a Child once born...in conversation as well as biology.
