I wasn't attacking you personally. I was just saying what I believe. I would think Omar has got everything she has through a combination of the opportunities being there and her using them. She is clearly a highly intelligent woman. She has plenty of appreciation of Western Civilisation. That is what she is trying to keep - that is Western Liberal Democracy - neo liberalism will no longer serve so that is another matter. It also is not something that Trump will give up on.

I'd like to leave some quotes but the New Statesman makes that impossible. I also would be very careful about believing what people on the right say about Omar. If you really want to know her position then listen to her speaking herself in context if possible or to someone who was there explaining how it has been altered to give a negative impression.

I did not expect in my life to see Fascism in the US but you are now a hairsbreath away from it. Ironically these young women are among the strongest fighting to make it not so.
