Bernie is wealthy and he acts like all wealthy men and refuses to pay a living wage for his workers, or he could use the other variant that the right uses claiming that his staff has no training, no degree, no expertise in the field they are working. Is Bernie a hypocrite I believe so but who isn't that are wealthy?

Project much? All wealthy men are not hypocrites. Not by a long shot. Sorry your hero let you down but that is socialism at work. Sanders is an old fool and a fraud.

Minimum wage for companies in Los Angeles with 26+ employees is $14.25 now, and will be going to $15. In the building I work, the 2 parking employees were replaced with machines. I heard that fast food restaurants have touch screen ordering stations instead of employees. Times are a changing!

It just goes to show you the democrat party does not care about helping the poor.

If they did, they would support programs to give skills that people will pay for.

Instead they are pricing burger flippers out of the market.

Seattle actually gained jobs even though a couple of pizza joints shut down after raising the minimum wage.

Bernie should be paying a minimum of $15/hour. He may well be paying that much as they say that they're working 60 hours per week and that dilutes to $13/hour.

    I heard they lost jobs.

I was also surprised to learn that even after the wage increase (roughly double of the 7.25 prior minimum),
the average employee only earned 10 dollars more a week.

I worked my way through college, debt free as I worked my ass off to pay tuition and living costs, the way I did it was as a waiter, working on tips, thank God the democrats were not floating a $15 minimum wage then, if that was in place I would not have been making about $75 an hour due to tips, and I would have been saddled with college loan debt. Minimum wage was $2.50 back then so I did what any half brained person would do I went out and found a better paying job. If you don't like working for minimum wage then figure out a way to do something else. Democrats to the core are the hand out people, they either want to give handouts that they don't pay for or they stand in line to get them. The motto of the democrat party should be "Its always someone else's fault"

Absolutely. He's an elite, not working class.

As I understand it, he's never had a job in the private sector.

My point has always been that minimum wage is an excuse for organizations to underpay people. We should get rid of it.
