Banks and Credit cards won't draw any SS checks and nobody will pay them any interest if nobody borrows any money from them.

That's when banks fail. Without any money, the house of cards falls down.

First it's the DNC that actually picks the nominee while they let a charade of a primaries system play out before the nation; but they already know well in advance whom they will make into the nominee. Second it is someone that has some political gravitas while also being capable of apealing to the average thoroughly programmed Dem Party voter.

Experience, knowledge, and abilities are far, far less importance than appearances and being able to play the agreed upon game. All that taken into account it's obvious that the DNC has been grooming Elizabeth Warren for this slot for many years now. Biden is just a temporary place holder stalking horse and eventually will be cast aside.

So as long as Warren mouths all of the politically correct and social engineering identity politics platitudes while embracing every lunatic tax and spend philosophy and social engineering scheme demanded by the Party Platform, she will fulfill all requirements and political desires.

I'm starting to feel like I'm going off-topic. So let me say that the reason I went in this direction is that I wanted to show that there're ways to get money besides working.

How this relates to Democrats and their wants for 2020 is that Universal Basic Income is another way to get money. And that's an attractive option, at least for me.

B-B-But most of our leftist posters are on record as stating that anyone other than Hillary could have beaten Trump and so that's what the Dem Party is currently running for the presidency . . . pretty much anybody.

Now but the taxes are collected on all income at a 33% rate. more than enough to fully fund a 1.5x poverty level which is actually less than what I am collecting now. Right now SS is only taxed on the first 100,000 grand or so.
My employer didn't pay pay my healthcare out of the kindness of his soul. but as part of my wage benefit package to work there. I want to go back to where the government got thier funds 40 years ago. When wages of the middle class grew at the same rate as wages of the rich.

Every citizen gets the same benefits and every citizen pays the same tax rate on all income above the fed poverty level. NO more playing favorites. If I worked a 2nd job the first 3 years that I bought my house, I know I was going to pay higher taxes, I still did it. The rich will still be driven to make more money whether the tax rate is 27 or 33%
Hell it didn't stop them when it was 40-50% either.

There is a distinction between income taxes and FICA contributions. Income taxes fund the government, FICA contributions are into a defined benefit plan from which you will receive future benefits. And it is collect up to $132K now and benefits are limited to that. The lower contributors actually get a return on their contributions on average while the higher contributor get less a return.

But it didn't come out of that $85K. And wages for the middle and lower income earners are increasing faster than the upper incomes under this economy. Let's keep it going by kicking the Democrats out of the House and put in some Republicans who will get it done even if that means removing a few incumbents.

what diff where I spent the money one. Like I said I could have taken it all in my paycheck if my wife had a plan I could go on. And wages are just one source of income. What about investment income that lower and lower middle income earners don't have access to. You look at a blip of one year and say that the middle class is catching up.

Actually you wouldn't have gotten had you been on your wife's plan I've been in that position you don't get a cash equivilant if you do not take a benefit that's not how tax laws work. I started out lower and worked through middle and saved and invested every year.

Most likely rigged process again. Rigged primaries then illegal votes to try and steal the election. Almost worked last time.

Not for a negative rate. I prefer a flat rate where everybody pays something.

A think the democratic candidate should have Charisma to compete against Trump and play dirty like that of Trump and who can stand up to Trump the best We can't have Hillary Clinton because she got shot down by Trump and what is needed is experience in real government if you know what I mean.
The question is: Can we find such a person?

You would think we would be looking for a candidate with "2020 vision:" a visionary. Which candidate has had an original idea?
