    There is a difference

    And I STILL think he should have faced jail time for “Trump University”

    When you consider the stupidity, incompetence and outright in your face graft of the firsts four years, and note his general disinterest in doing his job (other than mooning for the cameras), it’s a plausible argument.

    He certainly isn’t doing it because he has some grand design. He still doesn’t know how government works, and still thinks he can send stuff over and get it rubber stamped.

    Maybe he’ll give himself a condo in the Trump Tower Moscow.

    But then, the Trump Tower Moscow will never be built. The Russians just diddled him with the possibility during the campaign as a way of adding to the comprimat they already had on him. They’re smart enough to know that there’s no point in building a haven for money launderers in a country where most people with any money take their money out of. Trump isn’t that smart. He would also find that his Russian gangster friends won’t have much use for him.

    No, I expect him to be out on the telvangelical circuit, extolling the stay at homes to empty their wallets for whichever TV preacher he’s shilling for at the moment, minus a big rake off for Donald.

    Ben Carson can show him the ropes. Robbing the rubes is one of Ben’s specialities.

All their other "walls are closing in" hopes have crashed and burned, just keep looking until they can make something up. Can you imagine what it will be like if Trump loses? I can see the DNC platform in 2024, Actung Trumpsters!

    You still don't get it, do you?

    President Trump DOES NOT ACCEPT HOW GOVERNMENT HAD WORKED, or rather how for decades and multiple administrations it had utterly failed to work for the country and the American people.

    President Trump is redefining how the government should work based on common sense, the interests of the American people, America first priorities and America's role in the world. Granted it is a difficult and messy, trial and error-based process (especially in the climate of Democrat sabotage), the initial results of full employment, skyrocketing stock market, peace, prosperity, growing incomes, better trade deals speak for themselves.

    Most of trumps first term was fending off the democrats witch hunt just as democrats planned. Trumps second term will have a Republican Congress and the conspiracy delusion will be in the rear view mirror. You ain't seen nuthin yet.

    Trump may or may not get his second term. That all depends on whom the Democrats nominate. It's true legislative wise, Trump hasn't accomplished much. Tax cuts is all that comes to mind. The repeal of Obamacare failed. But he has done a lot with his EO and rescinding regulations. He also appointed two SCOTUS justices.

    Why would Trump want a second term, I don't have the faintest idea. Only Trump himself can answer that. Everything else would be pure speculation. Maybe Trump enjoys the limelight and fighting all those needless feuds he creates.

    Now me being me, I'm more interested in his chances of winning that second term than why he wants a second term. In 2016 Trump won because independents disliked Hillary Clinton a whole lot more than they did Trump. The question in my mind isn't why Trump wants a second term, but if the Democrats will nominate someone attractive to independents or someone as or disliked more than Trump by independents? That question is still up in the air. But the ball is in the democrats court. 2020 is an election for the democrats to lose, Trump can't win it, but the democrats could lose it with the wrong candidate. But so too was 2016, it also was an election for them to lose and lose they did. Candidates do matter, I wonder if the Democrats learned that lesson from 2016. Time will tell.
