The latest NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll nukes the core of the 2020 Democratic agenda. Two of the Left's major pieces for their 2020 election goodie bag, Medicare for all, health care for illegals, and slave reparations, totally trashed.

On health care for illegals, 62 percent say it's a bad idea, including 47 percent of moderate Democrats and 67 percent of independents. That's a kryptonite issue. Sixty-seven percent are opposed to the Democratic plan to decriminalize illegal border crossings, with 47 percent of Democrats, 68 percent of Independents, and 63 percent of minority voters opposing the left-wing push for open borders. Oh, and 37 percent of progressive Democrats, the Alexandria-Ocasio-Cortez wing, also agree; decriminalizing border crossings is a trash idea.

Republicans have controlled half or all of Congress every year since the 2010 election, so any bills passed in the last decade were molded from their criteria. Many of those cut resources designed to aid our military personnel, including food stamps which the majority of military families have to rely on due to low pay. Foreign aid is a powerful tool for peace globally. But foreign aid has also been cut repeatedly, based on Republican demands. New laws & tax cuts are all designed to serve the wealthiest among us--not the poor or middle class. Even the gigantic, unnecessary military funding increases are designed to feed the corporations & their execs, rather than the workers who actually produce the military hardware, or the soldiers, sailors & airmen who use it. American capitalism has become a twisted, distorted, dysfunctional system in regards to the average American worker, but a fine system serving the wealthy & ultra-rich.

 

What is Trump doing for homeless veterans? They are everywhere and need administration help. If any group needs an executive order,
it is our homeless veterans.

 

I wonder what this SEAL has done to combat homelessness in America.I'm guessing nothing.
