No firearm was designed for mass murder.
All firearms are capable of being used to commit mass murder.

    You already cited a source.
That source said, on average, 4.14 kids per year are killed in school shootings.
You believe that equates to "regularly, en masse", when, in fact, it is the least likely way for a child to die.

Rifles and pistols are far more deadly than automatic rifles/submachine guns unless the targets are grouped tightly.
That's why the US military got rid of the selector switch on the M16 for our troops in Vietnam.

But "you can get anything you want in Alice's restaurant". ;-)

"Police have charged a Sydney tradesman who they say was building guns for a criminal gang. Officers from the Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad arrested the 55-year-old at his home in the city's west at Greystanes yesterday morning.
They say the fitter and turner has been manufacturing and modifying guns, then selling the illegal weapons to an organised crime group."

When you can demonstrate the necessary relationship between the changes in Australian gun laws after the Pt Arthur shooting and the subsequent decline in mass shootings, let us know - until then you offer only post hoc fallacy.

I do not expect this to change.

I've experienced that as well, my point was unassailable so the left decided to attack my misplaced apostrophe. smh...

So the residents in the immediate area are racist and blame Mexicans even though the murderer was a stereotype typical American boy next door. The gun fanatics will also not give another thought but will come out on mass saying how good guns are when the next massacre happens

When you can't argue with honesty pick your opponent apart for linguistics errors and when they are corrected pretend to be illiterate.

I'm not surprised by such a tactic

What does surprise me is that not one time has any of them changed their mind. Even when presented with proof that they are flat wrong, they then move on to any grammatical errors you may have made. That they would rather ignore the point than to concede. My time here on PF has shown me that there indeed is no reason to debate with Democrat/Communist individuals, right or wrong they only care about winning the "debate".

When you go to being persnickety about someone's grammar you've lost. It's good to remind them that.

Surly Troll frameset, race face evolve crankset, Mavic CC wheels, SLX rear derailer, Rox Shox fork.
Dont recall all specific components without going out to look. Built it 10 years ago, frameset was 500$, fork was 380$, Wheelset was 300$ Crankset was 130$ Avid BB7 cable pull disc brakes, 120$ for the pair.
A damn shame, I rarely ride it anymore.

26"? Are the hubs disc compatible? Sounds like a kick ass bike. I ride a Titus and need a spare wheelset. Would you part it out or would I have to buy the whole bike? A Surly would look nice in my stable...

Right now, I am running the front wheel on my recumbent, with the BB7 disc. I put a pair of quality v brake wheels on it as I recently built the frame back up after having taken it apart to put parts on my first recumbent build, maybe 7 years ago. Running an Atomlab, pimplite on the rear of my current recumbent, sadly i cant run disc on it as the rear, vertical seat back support is welded to the rear 'seatstay' as it were, directly where the caliper mounting tab, would be welded. All my higher end parts are constantly in a state of flux, on one bike or another. I was sorta messing with Bush Lawyer, not really wanting to sell.

Besides, while still in good working order, all these parts have seen a decade of pretty heavy use, average of 30 miles a day for 7 years until my wifes ailing health requires me home more. Yes, 26 inch. How I roll, except my 29 SS.
