Active Shooter Situation In El Paso, TX, Police Have 'Reports Of Multiple Shooters'

So basically all I heard is that we won’t take guns away because the bad guys with guns use them and the good guys with guns and body armor won’t just on lesser offenses. But I don’t care if people have guns in their home just don’t bring it outside. That way the public knows that guy has a gun its not suppose to be here let’s flee before he start shooting.

 

As the left becomes exponentially more radical, I guess it's not surprising to see a small minority react violently. And like you say, it begins a downward (scary) cycle.

If this was an illegal that slaughtered 20 people in El Paso, the right would be screaming for Trump to get more funds and build the wall faster and sooner in order to help prevent this from happening again. But since it is another American killing more Americans with a gun, all they offer is thoughts and prayers.

 

The best advice to offer is to simply get used to it. Such is the status quo of the united states, where freedom is dangerous is someone chooses to disregard the rules of society. Such is the price tag of living in what qualifies as a free society, where government is devoid of the ability to stop random citizens and demand to see their papers authorizing their travel in public.

One thing seems certain -- he wasn't some impoverished, broke-down 'redneck' living in a trailer park. Here's a photo of the house where he lived (his parents' house?) in a far-northern Dallas suburb. Looks like about half a million, or quite a bit more.

My take, so far...? "Poor little rich kid", with too much time on his hands, sitting in air-conditioned comfort in Mommy and Daddy's house in the fashionable 'burbs in 'North Dallas', bored, and in need of 'something to do'.

The problem is that we never make the PUNISHMENT fit the CRIME! This creature should be given a trial within thirty days, and then, if found guilty, executed in the most horrifying way imaginable during the next two weeks. It should be shown all over network TV and the internet. That might definitely 'deter' the other wanna-be, rich-kid murderers from leaving their other amusements....

I would argue in ALL of these shootings if there were people carrying who were able to kill these predators ASAP, AND the news stopped reporting the person's name which infamously glorifies their actions, this would stop most or all shootings.
