    Just some proof of their subversion of democracy throughout US history

    1. Requiring people to have land to vote
    2. Only allowing white men to vote
    3. The creation of the KKK after the left wing gave african americans the right to vote.
    4. Using party sanctioned terrorists to kill and intimidate the opposition from voting
    5. Rigging state elections after the passing of the 15th amendment by refusing to count all Republican votes (left wing at the time)
    6. Poll tax
    7. Literacy tests (rigged)
    8. Opposition to the 19th amendment
    9. Use of force against strikers
    10, Buying of senators
    11. Forcing the 3/5th compromise to get undo representation in the house
    12. Filibustering civil rights legislation supported by the majority in the senate for decades
    13. Gerrymandering to the extreme
    14. Voter suppression
    15. Removing polling stations
    16. Starting a civil war over slavery when the Abolitionists won, even though the constitution allowed congress to take control of the issue after the year 1808.
    17. Refusing to give judicial nominees a vote.

    Conservatives in other western countries are of good faith but not in the US of A

    Absolute truth. No way around it. The far right's 17 points above are set in stone for them. They abhor the truth being taught in the schools about them.

    You did not destroy the KKK, which migrated to your party.

    Democracy doesn't mean universal suffrage. Democracy exists since ancient Greece, universal suffrage is a very recent thing.

    Agreed the KKk is still around but not nearly as powerful and are not a arm of the gop like they were the dnc.

    What are you talking about? The goo has been and had past civil rights laws for decades before The gop was able to finally get a dem president to flip flop in Johnson. You all had always fought it, ir was you all that had to flip

    I don't think they mean dems when they say they didn't do it. I think they mean democratic socialists. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense.

    What the small government conservative subset of the GOP refuses to acknowledge is that they are very, very small in numbers.

    The fact is the GOP is a modern right-wing Progressive oriented-party that wants to control everything about our lives.
