In the 1870s some people got the bug up their butt to write a new Bible. They were guided by a couple of English guys, Westcott & Hort. Westcott was the more racist of the two. So, the committee got busy and, in the early 1880s, presented their new Bible, the current Protestant Bible, represented by the KJV. They had deleted the Apocrypha, because Westcott & Hort didn't like it and also as a way to save money on printing costs. The Protestants jumped on the new revision like paint on a wall but the Catholics told them to shove it and kept the original Bible. I agree. And under my Christian faith, the Christian God is the absolute moral standard... He is the reference point for what is morally good/bad.

As an Atheist, what is the standard that you base your condemnation of child abuse on? I assume you believe morality to be subjective?? If so, then how is abusing children "always wrong", as you claim? Someone else might feel that it isn't wrong, correct? ... Why does your morality trump their morality, if morality is "subjective"?
