Posting while drunk/high

I wonder how many people post when they are under the influence?
Sometimes I post while being pretty drunk. I will go further and admit that sometimes I post while so drunk, I get surprised to see responses to a post I didn’t know I made.

 

No.

 

It's not a good thing to post even after just a couple of glasses of wine. That has been my lesson learned anyway.

 

I've shamed myself with drunken nonsense a few times. Not recently though.

 

Some of my wittiest “bon mots” were made while gazing upon the grape.
Unfortunately I can’t remember them!
I’m inclined to be bombastic and pompous after drinking.

 

Every single one of my posts are done when I am drunk, including this one.

When I wake up I have this huge feeling of regret and check to see if I've been banned again but a glass of wine or two fixes it.

That explains a lot. Sometimes you seem pretty combative and other times very reasonable. I post a lot after drinking and smoking weed too. I get very snotty, sarcastic and belligerent sometimes.

 

Can confirm. Posting and drinking just don't go well together.



When you're so drunk you think your phone is drowning when you dropped it into the Cheetos bowl, it's time to put on a stronger password/pattern on your phone.

i've not been sober in the past three decades, so it doesn't matter.

 

I quit drinking over three decades ago. So on the average we are both moderate drinkers.

 

Rarely. Can't remember the last time.

Mind you, 'drunk' for me is half a glass of Cab Sauv.

 

I’m jealous. I haven’t had a drink in almost a week. I am secretly dreaming of going alcohol free for many years.

In a strange way I got lucky. My blood sugar problems made me feel so badly when I drank that is just wasn't worth it. I didn't know why I felt like crap before I even got drunk, but I knew I did. Before that started, or to be more accurate, before I realized the problem, I drank waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much.

 

Every time I drink my blood pressure shoots up pretty high. A month ago I had to go to an urgent care over unrelated thing and the doctors wanted to call an ambulance due to my blood pressure. I was hangover.
So, I’ve been trying to cut down and am entering a stage where I hope to completely eliminate booze from my life. I successfully did that with tobacco back in March.

Benefits to health and wallet are great though.

 

Gin will do that to us!

 

I very rarely drink and haven't been "legally drunk" in decades. In case anybody cares.

 

I medicate all day, so there's a great chance I'm under the influence of feeling well.
