Well, you have written nice verses. May I use your verses and the gifs in my postings in other forums? I shall credit you as the origin writer of the verses.

You and other anti-Russian extremists have spent the past three years freaking out over every connection to a Russian person no matter how trivial. You now expect us to believe you'd be fine with Russian diplomats meeting with anti-government protesters and movements inside the US?

The US spent at least $5 billion on supporting the Maiden movement.

You should probably follow your own advice. Because you are obviously ignorant of the CIA's long and well-established history of fomenting revolutions inside other countries.

All you post is ad hominem, unfounded generalizations, lies, and sources that don't even support your lies. Ethereal and Jenny are in the same boat (and it's registered in Olgino).

Of course they were poor, or they wouldn't have taken the money given them to protest. I mean how can you walk for days and stay in Kiev for months without money. Most of the protesters came from the Galatia area which was being supplemented by Eastern Ukraine.

The people in Galatia thought that if they joined the EU they would prosper like Poland, but Poland was a special case and had been given billions by the US and EU. Basically the people were being manipulated so that Nato could establish a naval base on the Crimea. This is why Washington freaked with the referendum.

    You'll have to ask them.

Do you think the thousands protesting Putin in Moscow and Saint Petersburg are being paid too?

True in may respects but just slightly left of target and you may have just qualified for the understatement of the year ! :) We sacrifice morality for the big money interests that pull the Establishment strings and dictate our foreign policy.

And therein lies the rub. Most accept some sacrifice because of a deep belief that somewhere in that dark black hole - someone - has the best interest of the citizen and the nation in mind and that we are the "Good Guys".. . This both a "necessary illusion". and mostly a lie.

Our system has become so corrupt that right and wrong have become platitudes - feel good phrases that sound good during an election but are quickly dispensed with once in office.

Speaking words like "corruption" and "moral depravity" doesn't mean much outside of context or an example by which the degree of the depravity can be measured. To some degree we will all accept some level of corruption and moral recession but, at what point does it become "unacceptable".

Assessing this bar is difficult because each person has a different measuring stick. So I thought to myself - how about I come up with a bar that is so low - that almost all of congress should be able to make it over. Some action that the vast majority of citizens would agree is "unacceptable" - so morally offensive that almost no one would accept crossing this line.. something really crazy like "Arming and supporting the 911 Terrorists while they are raping and killing Christians and other marginalized religious groups in some foreign land - with tens of thousands of tons of sophisticated military technology".

If we went out and did a poll - asking people - If a supported or was involved in this - do you think they should be kicked out of office - How many would say "Yes" ? I would think an overwhelming majority.

As luck would have it - such as test was recently conducted due to the fact that the Obama Administration was doing just that.

Would you like to hazard a guess at how many in congress passed the test ? So we have 435 in the House and 100 in the Senate for a total of 535. How many do you think passed the test ? 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 or perhaps 99% :) I would hope the figure would be at least over 90% but what do you think ?

One more question - at what percentage would you claim that moral depravity has become the rule rather than the exception and move your comment from "sacrificing some morality" to complete abdication of moral principles.

I will let you respond and then present the test results.

You could change the question to paint any country in an equally bad light, China included especially as it relates to women, children and yes Christians and other religions i assume too.

Do we go after every country that oppresses it's people? I don't know..

We aren't going to get a moral government until we have a moral citizenry.
All our current political "problems" are a direct result of our own immorality.

That's why Trump's MAGA. Will never work.
MAGA will happen when the American people start behaving greatly and not before.
It's not about the laws we pass , the policies we pursue or who we elect. It's 100% how we behave.

You did not answer the question ? Please do so.

I am not much interested in changing China and other despotic regimes out there - What does it say when we are reduced to claiming "Well China is just as bad" ?

Of course we don't go after every country that oppresses people - we are party to some of that oppression. Our foreign policy is maintaining the economic hegemony of the big money interests that dictate that policy - not about helping the oppressed.

This has nothing to do with having a moral citizenry - The citizens in general have no clue what is going on - and the media is in no hurry to educate them - as the MSM is owned by these big money interests. The Establishment MSM in interested propping up the Establishment propaganda narrative - and maintaining the status quo.

Back to my question - were you aware that the Obama Admin was arming Al Qaeda, ISIS and other groups of the same ilk ? Good for you if you were, but the average Citizen does not know this and would be appalled if they did. Average Joe may be immoral in many ways but he is not that immoral.

Why is it that you think this issue gets almost no coverage - and when it is covered the spinning is hot and heavy in order to hide the truth.

Is the headline "Obama arms 911 terrorist group" not News ? This has little to do with lack of morality among the citizens and a whole lot to do with the fact that we now live in an Orwellian Propaganda state.

MAGA will not work because that is not Trump's intention. Trump works for some of the big money interests that rule the Establishment elite politicians and bureaucrats. It has nothing to do with how we behave in the sense of immorality.

So 2 questions - that of the last post .. and the one above.

No they shouldn't be kicked out of office.
They should lose their next election if it's the will of the people.

Yes i am aware Obama aided al Qaeda

Just like Reagan aided the mujahedeen.

I think there should be a ban in selling/ goving military aid to non state organizations and more strict rules on selling to governments.

It is nothing like Reagan aiding the mujahadeen - not even close. You missed question 2 - which is related to "they should be kicked out of office. Rather difficult to kick someone out of office for aiding and abetting the enemy if the electorate doesn't know.

Without a fair and free media there is no such thing as a functional democratic process.

    I answered both your questions.

We haven't had free press since the communists came to power.
