Universal Pictures pulls ads for horror film about liberal elitists hunting ‘deplorables’

More political propaganda just like “Obama’s America 2016” in 2012 but let’s totally ignore Trumps constant vilification of left wing figures, Hispanics and media that have gotten us to this point.

 

OMG, did you even watch the trailer? The good guys are the ones being hunted. LOL

 

Look..I watched the trailer after and even posted that it doesn't look like a partisan movie...I was expecting people in Maga hats getting picked off by snipers and what not bit trailer is nothing like that

 

I don't know how anybody could have thought this movie was a good idea ---- but it appears for now its release has been canceled.

 

Typical. Hollywood is out of ideas and that's why they keep screaming "racist" for everything a republican does under the sun. Oh well, its been canceled anyways.

 

From my Hollywood left sources this movie is based upon the liberal elitist Bel-Aire Country Club where Hollywood liberals mingled with socialist and illegal immigrants and plotted for such things in the past as motor voter, ballot harvesting, Prop 47 and 57, annual increases on gas taxes and vehicle registration fees, taxing cow farts, outlawing plastic straws and sanctuary laws and the resistance and obstructionism against the current executive branch of the federal government and disarming law abiding citizens.

I went on a RedBox binge a while back. I rented a movie nearly every night for about two weeks. In nearly each of those movies, at some point, some progressive theme was brought up... the one exception was an old Steven King book (before his awokening) turned movie, with Christopher Walken. The worst was The First Purge. It's like a racial identity politics wet dream. You should definitely check it out if you haven't seen it. One of the more infuriating was a movie with Danny Trejo where they literally reverse the real life 'Epic Beard Man' incident. In the movie it's a group of white supremacists harassing minorities, instead of a black guy attacking an old white man.

 

Uhmmm... If this film is made by liberal Hollywood why would the make the hero of the films one of the deplorables? "The star, Betty Gilpin, turns the tables on the elite and starts killing them one by one". Wouldn't liberal hollywood portray the hunted as gay bashing, immigrant hating racist and the elite as SWJ warriors protecting the environment and world from the racist? Seems strange for them to make a film where the deplorables are the good guys unless Hollywood is really conservative in disguise.

Universal Pictures has canceled the September 27 release of the controversial movie "The Hunt," in the wake of significant backlash over the film that depicts privileged vacationers hunting "deplorables" for sport.

I was kind of hoping they would be dumb enough to release it. Hillary's "deplorables" comment was decisive in her losing. Dems haven't leaned anything since. Maybe they will release it next year right before the elections.

This thread reminds me when our resident cons protested the release of the Purge movies where they depict the government allowing legal murder and hiring militia to enter the poor ghettos and slaughtering everyone there in each city. Oh wait, I forgot....the cons didn't cry about that movie for some strange reason. LOL

 

When cons stop their crying, they will release the movie.

So why would the studios cave to pressure if there was nothing to it? They canceled the release now, that's millions of dollars lost, they wouldn't do that if they could easily defend the film. They can't so they pulled it. Folks like you trying to defend it is quite telling as to liberal attitudes these days.
