I did the google search & it brought up lovely pictures of Russia in spring. According to the Putinist propagandist who started this thread that is because Google is deliberately showing negative images of Russia to people who type in a particular term in Russian. So, the very people who can just look out the window to see what spring in Russia looks like are deliberately being shown the bad images while people half a world away in the part of the world where anti-Russian propaganda would presumably be of the most value see the nice images.

    Yep, totally credible explanation. Totally.

A person who wasn't pathologically addicted to conspiracy theories & propaganda might take a moment to consider that this might just be a glitch in the algorithm.

Use Duck duck go. Google is data mining, survailing, slanted garbage. You have other choices, use them. Screw google.

Nonsense. The reason the idiot search comes up with pics of Trump is due to the fact that so many people use that word all over the internet to describe Trump.

Google is not an AI. It is code that gives us what we want based on what others before us have entered or searched for. If you're trying to research something, it's best if you have several search phrases in mind, because depending on your exact wording, results will likely vary.

I know it's not AI, which is why some little liberal peckerhead purposely altered the coding to show those results.

All you google fans should understand that there are some whistleblowers that have come forward and exposed google for deliberately coding the algorithms to achieve biased results. THEY ARE BRAINWASHING YOU WITH PROPAGANDA.

I'm not a google fan. Like anything else in technology, google is a tool, one of many. When I research something, I never depend on one search, regardless of which tool I'm using. You can't be brainwashed unless you restrict your own thinking.

This is not true! A simple Google search shows the bias in YOUR post...

You guys are so naive. I can see the political censorsip in Facebook every day. Also there is a lot of cases of Youtube bias. Why Google must be different? Your media are free and fair? That's why the US president calls the MSM "fake news". And people vote for him. Because everything is ok?

You could find anti-Russian bias on a blank piece of paper, so your perceptions of the world have zero credibility.

You left out a few details.

Google images is offering multiple options. There's a menu at the top of the images: wallpapers, St, Petersburg, Moscow, weather, and so on. Just press "weather" if this is what you looked for, and voila:

The first image of many beautiful pictures of Russian spring.

    https://www.google.com/search?clien...egQ4lYILigD&biw=1093&bih=518&dpr=1.25#imgrc=_

I googled American Spring in Russian. Guess what:

This is the first image, from a Russian site. Not exactly a delicate flower, is it? But again, there are options on top, one of them is "nature". Press it to get butterflies.

Google is not biased, people are. Google is not perfect, but it's the best we've got right now. Far better than Yandex, which offers no options for topics related to searched images.

I know for sure that Facebook is censored. Many people know that.
If it's an incredible discovery for you or for anyone else - it's your problem, not mine.

    Lets see.
If you search in english you get the tourist information propaganda.
But if you search in russian, you get to see how the real spring looks like in russia.
I geuss google nailed it again!

Then type, for example, "украина весна" (ukraine spring). Maybe you think Russian spring and Ukrainian one are very different? No, it's not. Maybe people in Russia and in Ukraine are very different? They are not, again. But in the case witn "ukraine spring" we can see "the tourist information propaganda" - trees, flowers and so on. Also you can try "беларусь весна" (belarus spring) - the result is the same as for "ukraine spring" - flowers and trees.

Actually, it's so obvious case of manipulated information by Google. Funny to look how some people are wiggling and twisting, trying to invent new and new arguments to prove it's not censorship, it's some mathematics algorithm, it's computer and so on.

Did you figure all this out by yourself or did you get help from Hannity and Limbaugh?

You would have to spend a lot of time studing history to understand what I’m telling you

But briefly liberal newspapers were pro soviet

As were idealistic professors in the universities

As were some of the liberals who joined FDR in washington

I have to call BS on that. I was there (yes, I'm old). There were no pro-Soviet newspapers. Anti-USSR sentiment was so strong, no one would have bought a copy if they had been. Such a publication would have been promptly shut down through sheer lack of funds. When the so-called "underground" newspapers began to emerge in the 60s, even they were not pro-Soviet, just mostly into pointing out that America did some ugly things in the world now and then, like sending the young men of my generation to fight and die for the Michelin Tire Company's rubber plantation.

What you believe was pro-Soviet was merely the beginnings of a democratic socialist movement, which is a far, far cry from Soviet ideology. There are some good books on this if you're interested.
