https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-49330702 Poor little soldier. I don't know who does these sums, but I once read that half the NHS budget goes on treating the elderly in their last six months of life. Well sod that. Old age is incurable. Spend the money on research into growing a new brain for Nora. Or why my beloved eldest grand daughter has a meltdown if she can't have a shower at exactly 7 am. And helping all the other kids who right now will never grow up.
and...your point in relation to the story you posted in the OP is..... Call the McCanns...they're experts in leaving people in hotel rooms unattended....
My point is that if the lass had a few more brain cells she might still be alive. Last week I was at the hospital and I have not had so many young women poking and prodding me since I was 18. But I ain't. I am 73 and delightful as I found the attention, there was nothing those lasses could do that won't stop me keeling over in God's good time. So sod it. The best thing the NHS can do is repair my wood stove, park me in front of it with a computer with sufficient umph to download any movies I want from Pirate Bay and the books I want to read from Zlibrary, add a few pots of coffee and bottles of Sainsburys brandy and then I could be left to go pleasantly to pieces. The whole process could be paid for by a few months NICs, with the remainder being spent on giving those with mental and physical problems a better chance in life.
errmmm...you mean the lass with holoprosencephaly, a disorder which affects brain development...??....again....what's your point? You posted an article from the beeb about the fact that this "lass" with holoprosencephaly (whatever the fcuk that is) turns up dead in Malaya having stayed from her hotel room which suddenly morphs into a rant about the NHS...I'm lost...maybe I've got holowhatsitsname
m'kay....good....now you've got that out of your system please try and answer my question...as it's your OP...so....please explain what this has to do with your over arching rant on the NHS as per your comment.... Oh and by the way I reported the post as I think it goes against the tenets of the forum.... ...you decide..?
Yeah...my thoughts exactly but I was rather confused by the OP's attaching a critique of the NHS onto a family tragedy...??
