Still, as of NOW, Biden (barring anything unforeseen) is in the best position to get the Nom.

Obviously, things can change (at anytime).

But, as of now, Biden is in 1st Place (and the candidate to beat).

That was my first thought - he's Hillary all over again.

One of the knocks on Clinton, whether it was fair or not, was that she didn't beat the bushes like Trump did.

This doesn't bode well for Biden and the Dems at all...

I think you're forgetting how diametrically different Sanders and Trump are from one another. Both of them may be populists but the similarities end there. The former is a socialist and the latter is an unapologetic capitalist who pledges America will never be a socialist country.

You may not get that and all the other glaring differences between the two men and their platforms but Trump supporters do.

More likely millions of Sandersistas didn't vote at all because Uncle Bernie wasn't the nominee.

Biden's got the center and the socialist vote is split between Uncle Bernie and Fauxcahontas.

It's more likely the DNC will support someone who is actually a Democrat, which means GaffeMaster JB or Fauxcahontas, and since Biden is viewed as more viable in the general that's probably where they'll go.

Another way to marginalize Sanders would be to get Warren on the ticket with Biden.

The way things are looking, the DNC in Milwaukee is shaping up to be another train wreck like the one in 2016, and God knows what will happen if the DOJ starts handing down indictments on the Obama-Clinton crime family and its "insurance" agents.

He was a gaffe machine in 2008 when he was campaigning for president in the primaries.
He was a gaffe machine in 2012. The Obama campaign had the same problem when he went unscripted.
He's older now and still full of gaffes. The boy ain't as bright as the law allows.

That's exactly what's happening with the Democratic governor of Virginia, Ralph "Coonman" Northam.

He rarely shows his blackface in public...

We already learned this lesson, didn't we? An early front runner who assumes that they have a God given right to the nomination. I don't have anything against Biden as a person and will vote for him if he gets the nomination. But on policy, he seems to be woefully out of date and incapable of updating his positions. I really don't have any faith that he understands issues like climate change or income disparity. He simply won't challenge the insurance sector or the pharmaceutical companies. He won't cut defense spending. He has traditionally been way too eager to engage in "tough on crime" politics which has resulted in millions of Americans being locked up needlessly. He clings to some fantasy of bipartisanship when such a thing is impossible today.

I think when contrasted with leaders capable of moving in bold new directions (see: almost every other major candidate for the Democrats) he looks far from a sure thing to beat Trump. I think when primaries start, political pundits are in for a rude awakening about Biden's real level of popularity.

I just look at the current dynamic of the race, and this is what I see.

Barring anything unforeseen--Regardless of what happens in the first 3 states:

Biden has a Firewall of SC and Super Tuesday.

And, if Biden steamrolls SC with a huge black vote--then 3 days later steamrolls to the most delegates on Super Tuesday...

The only way that I see the "Progressives" stopping him is if Sanders drops out and endorses Warren.

Because, as seems likely, Warren will have more delegate support (than Sanders) after Super Tuesday, it would make more sense for Bernie to step aside.

If both stay in after Super Tuesday, they split the Progressive vote (and hand the Nom. on a platter to Biden).

Of course, things can always change, still early, etc.

With all due respect, I just don't see him steamrolling anything. He's running on name recognition and the fact that he has a black friend (Obama).

I'm sorry, but there's just no meat in his taco. His (so far) stated policies are so *******ned vanilla, centrist Democrat, as to be essentially useless against Trump.

The only hope for the Dems is if they nominate someone as outside the lines as Trump is.

For me, that's Bernie Sanders, who's been walking the walk for 30+ years. Or, maybe even Andrew Yang, who's "Universal Basic Income" makes some actual sense when explained within the context of the coming automated technology wave that is going to eliminate hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Blue Collar jobs in America,

I would urge everyone, left or right, to watch his Joe Rogan interview. The guy sees what's coming down the pike, and has some uniques ideas on how to fix it.

And then go watch the Bernie interview and still try to tell me that he's some kind of crazy socialist.

I like Bernie, don't get me wrong.

It is just that, in the "Progressive Lane", Warren seems to have eclipsed him this time around.

If it was a 2-Person Race like in 2016, Bernie would be in great shape.

In any event, I will be voting for the Dem. Nominee (be it Biden, Bernie, or Bigfoot).

    Trump MUST be defeated.

And, regardless of how the nomination contest plays out, the Dems MUST all be on the same page in November.

He's a crook like Hillary, sold the office of the VP.

THE PUSHBACK GATHERS STEAM: Grassley, invoking ‘Uranium One,’ probes Biden-linked sale of sensitive tech company to China.

Saying the potential conflicts of interest were reminiscent of the controversial "Uranium One" transaction, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley announced Thursday he is probing the Obama administration's 2015 decision to approve the sale of a sensitive U.S. technology company to the Chinese government and an investment firm run by the sons of Joe Biden and John Kerry.

Hunter Biden's business dealings in Ukraine have already become a liability for the elderly Biden's frontrunning presidential campaign, and the new investigation could lead to further allegations of corruption. Old Joe Biden has bragged about pressuring Ukraine to fire its top prosecutor in 2016, and critics said the then-vice president wanted to head off the prosecutor's probe into a company that employed Hunter Biden as a board member.

Grassley, writing to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, noted that Rosemont Seneca Partners, which was established by Kerry stepson Christopher Heinz and Hunter Biden, among others, joined with the government-run Bank of China to create Bohai Harvest RST (BHR) in 2013. The fund openly advertised its “unique Sino-US shareholding structure," as well as its lucrative “global resources and network."

And we wonder why the Deep State Crooks take China's side on every issue?
