Liberals need a boogyman. I find that liberals can't handle the thought that a large section of the population is against them. To them, nothing is grassroots, it has to be big business in the shadows turning the cogs of power.

£5million is a chunk of money.

The bigger picture is that politicians and government are being paid by big businesses to pass laws/regulations favourable to them, which is corruption, and should be outlawed.

Why would the NRA contribute money if it wasn’t to curry favor? Do you think the NRA contributed $5M out of the kindness of their hearts?

    Inanimate objects cannot commit murder.
Inanimate objects cannot commit gluttony, torpor, or envy.
Inanimate objects cannot hold a grudge, form intent, or act on their own.

Inanimate objects can be made smart, however the NRA opposes that too.

No, no they can't. Phones are not smart. Guns cannot be made smart. Use another word.
Inanimate objects can be called "smart", but they cannot learn or be made or be made "smart".

    Yes, they can be.

That you refuse to accept it does not make it any less real or possible. We could design any firearm with the technology that could only make it functional for the registered user. This would eliminate thousands of accidental shootings.

I predict even after the NRA ceases to be a factor, GCers will still be blaming it for Americans support of 2A.

NRA is a result of pro gun rights, not the cause of it. But GCers cant accept that self defense is popular, so they need a focus for the narrative.

yes and considering they represent millions of Americans they deserve a voice.. I'm just pointing out that the idea of politicians being bought and paid for by the NRA or that the NRA has undue influence in government is a lie.

The real power of the NRA has come in the voting booth, and politicians know it. Thus destroying the NRA is a goal of all the anti-gun crowd.

If money donated = bought and paid for the NRA is a low bidder.
