I do not consider racial slurs making fun of Jews or any race as anti semitism or anti whatever race. I think people have become way to sensitive about that stuff. I know with my buddies in the military who are of many different ethnicities, we joke with each other constantly making fun of race, family relations, wives, etc etc, all in good fun. I can't speak for high schools and I don't teach 7th grade (world) history or 8th grade US history, so I can't say exactly. I WOULD hazard a guess that considering how the words Hitler and Nazi are thrown around on this very board to describe people and groups that really are nothing of the sort - how the words have essentially come to mean "Any person/group you disagree with" - that a LOT of people have never been taught much about WWII and many of them are on this very board.
