This is nuts. Trump floats a crazy idea -- "Let's buy Greenland!" -- and when the Danes point out that that's just not going to happen, Trump cancels an upcoming trip to Denmark.

This is the same Denmark that has lost 50 soldiers helping us in Afghanistan.

Trump managed to look stupid, ignorant, autocratic, thin-skinned and childish all at the same time.

Seriously, how can anyone support this, or him? How much damage to America's reputation -- and by extension, our security -- are you willing to tolerate?

And today, he referred to himself as "the chosen one" and is trying to say that all Jews that support the democrats are "disloyal' to this country. This is not only disgusting behavior for any man much less the leader of the United States.

Donald Trump is the laughingstock of the entire world. But actually, people are mocking him. He is just a completely awkward, explosive and would be a laughable man if he wasn't so damned dangerous. Some people are mocking the US for electing such a president. I don't think people laugh because they think our election was pathetic, or because they see the US as a comical country. We elected a guy that looks up to Rodrigo ****ing Duterte, the same dude who claimed to be the next Hitler.

That is absolutely NOT true. Yes, Congress imposed additional sanctions on Russia after the sanctions imposed on Russia by President Obama. But if you remember, Congress RELEASED those sanctions at the request of TRUMP in 2018. Specifically, on businesses connected to Oleg Deripaska the Russian oligarch who Paul Manafort worked for and the same oligarch that got sanctions removed so his holding company Rusal could build a plant in Kentucky. Mitch McConnell had EVERYTHING to do with removing those sanctions, and it's because McConnell is owned by Russia too!

While Trump earned criticism with this, why would you falsely make this a gender issue? Trump is a dlck to all, regardless of gender. Unfortunately, he is an accurate representation of the average American, regardless of their political party.

Denmark is a United Nations country and has been since 1945. So yes, as a member of the United Nations, Denmark has every right to expect the US and any other UN member to defend them. As a matter of fact, Denmark was one of the very first countries in the UN and Denmark was the only Scandinavian country to approve of the American Invasion of Iraq, and Denmark and the United States have always consulted closely on European political and security matters.

 

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the Russian sanctions and the AK-47 connection ?

 

Trump doesn't know anything about any of that. He is ignorant and doesn't listen to advisors..

 

All major media outlets are focusing on the 'nasty' stuff, and I really only mentioned that in passing.... It's funny how he cannot seem to form a legit 2-way working relationship with a single female world leader though, isn't it?

The more I think about it, I think David Frum could be onto something.... see my post #3.... This whole Greenland thing just seemed so far out of left field unless what Frum is suggesting has some basis... It's a good working theory either way...
