Trump just put off a meeting with Denmark because they won't talk about selling Greenland

Their economies cannot sustain too much in spending they are rebuilding their economies after being ruined by Soviet Russian communism and Russian occupation. One or two of the Baltic countries are spending more than 2% just because they know Russia is breathing down the backs.

Doesn't Trump know, Greenland is not for sale at any price? No country is not for sale. Trump ought to know that. It shows stupidity on Trump.

You know the answer but each country in NATO has it's own story. The reason I brought up the Baltics and Poland is because they were self motivated by the fear of Russian aggression so they had to show good faith. If Trump wanted NATO countries to increase their contribution then do it diplomatically and not in view of the real enemy Russia who wants nothing better than to destroy NATO. So the Trump played right into Putin's hands or Trump acted on Putin's order?

The fact yet remains that Denmark does not seem motivated to spend on defense. Either they don't see Russia as a imminent threat, in which case you're blathering about nothing, or they can't afford it, which means it may be in there interest to sell Greenland.

    Or they're just dumb...

You sound very much like Hitler. "We want that land - we'll just take it."

I could compare your approach to Putin/Crimea if you prefer.

Either way, if the shoe fits ...
