You have touched on an interesting, relevant point, Te, and I will resist the temptation to dig into it now (and I should probably start a new thread, because it involves people on Social Security in this country, and the way that they've been SCREWED for over a decade by the Federal Reserve in its ceaseless effort to prop up the stock market. Right now I'm madder than hell at Trump (can you believe it?) because of his stupid, baseless, needless, idiotic insistence on having the Fed crushing interest rates (*AGAIN!*). The only reason anybody wants to do that right now is to save EUROPE'S economic, overly-socialistic ass -- it's got nothing to do with the relatively successful economy we have here in the United States -- but now he wants to jeopardize all of that, and I cannot even begin to understand WHY. Yeah, I'll start a different thread. This is a real game-changer for me -- AND -- a lot of other people who always tried to use common sense and save money instead of blowing it recklessly.... See you later.
They aren't, really. They pretend to be conservative while not in power, but the moment they gain power again, they spend like drunken sailors. The only different, wrt spending, between the two parties is that team R pretends to care about spending while a D is in the big chair. Team D never pretends to care about fiscal responsibility. In this one tiny way, the D team is more honest than the R team. The end result is the same, though, so it's not really an important distinction.
Yet, you cannot explain that relic... You where warned. Still attributing to God which is Satan's and sinful men?
Onus remains entirely on theists to PROVE that their imaginary deity exists and that is NOT happening with a FAKE "holy relic". https://www.livescience.com/63093-shroud-of-turin-is-fake-bloodstains.html
Never heard of Baxter Springs, but I will take Kansas over any state that touches it. Hands down. Though Colorado is prettier. Missouri is a real **** hole, St Louis anyone!
Colorado, where I live, is beautiful indeed! But for an excellent steak dinner, you need to go next door to The Grain Bin in Garden City, Kansas! Kansas people are very friendly, and I have always liked them -- especially the ones you find from about Witchita and Topeka on westward.... Genuine AMERICANS, like from back when America really WAS great!
