Seriously? You’re participating in this thread without knowing that the whole thing was started by Trump tweeting that, “... Alabama will most likely get hit (much) harder than anticipated “? Seriously?

Ok. Here are some links. Once again thanks for the timeline proving that Trump’s tweet was the OPPOSITE of the truth.

"In addition to Florida - South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated. Looking like one of the largest hurricanes ever. Already category 5. BE CAREFUL! GOD BLESS EVERYONE!

Your pervious post does not reflect the content of that tweet.

Look how Trump can turn humans into dancing circus monkeys by merely waving a Sharpie around.

The man is truly a magician.

This is what Trump actually said:

"In addition to Florida - South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated. Looking like one of the largest hurricanes ever. Already category 5. BE CAREFUL! GOD BLESS EVERYONE!

My previous post quoted his tweet pretty much verbatim. That means word for word.

Still, thanks for the timeline that proved that his tweet was the OPPOSITE of the truth.

Wow, there are still voices of reason around. If not for that, one could actually despair.

If you had read my post 270, I explained it. You should have read it, because you responded to it.

Trump’s tweet on Sep 1 - said it was MOST LIKELY that Alabama would get hit MUCH HARDER THAN ANTICIPATED.

Your timeline proved that his tweet was the opposite of the truth, because by the time he sent it out, Alabama was expecting to be “hit” less hard than previously anticipated. If at all.

Nonsense, he tweeted his assessment of the risk at the time based on the strength of the storm and the NOAA's assessment of a 30% chance of hitting Alabama.

Hence NOAA's admission that Trump was right and its NHC was wrong.

Hilarious! You posted a timeline that PROVED that by the time of Trump's tweet (Sep. 1) the risk had DECREASED, even though his tweet said the opposite - that it was "most likely" that Alabama would "get hit (much) harder than anticipated".

Here is your very own post (my highlighting) that conclusively proves Trump's tweet was wrong.

By Sep. 1 the risk had FALLEN - not risen as Trump said.

But that is no big deal. If he had just made a mistake and said, "oops, my bad" no-one would have cared. It is the lying to cover up the mistake that is the issue. He proves his super-fragile ego. His unfitness for the highest office in the land.

But I'm quite sure that nothing I can say - no facts, no matter how clear and unequivocal - will persuade you to abandon your man-child-god.

I really have to question the objectivity of a person that takes a quote out of context and then blatantly lies and says they quoted it "word for word".

You did not quote it word for word (or even "pretty much").....you took it out of context to make it appear he was only discussing Alabama. He was not. The ACTUAL QUOTE was:

"In addition to Florida - South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated. Looking like one of the largest hurricanes ever. Already category 5. BE CAREFUL! GOD BLESS EVERYONE!"

Except to the most brain dead illiterate, it is quite obvious that he was stating the storm itself will most likely hit much harder than anticipated and Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama are the states that could experience more than anticipated.

Your post #270 explained NOTHING....except for your dishonest quoting of the actual sentence. The sentence was not that long, there was no reason to truncate it.....well, unless a person wanted to misrepresented what was said for partisan politics and make it look like Trump was only discussing Alabama.

When Biden reaches 10,000 VERIFIED lies then gimme a call

And you are accepting of those very lies. But then again, I’m absolutely sure you didn’t call out any “lie” by Hillary right ?

Accepting these lies is the core of TDS. The real problem in this country is that the right not only accepts the lies, they condone them thru their efforts to change and manipulate facts to try to make what he says true. It’s unacceptable when any politician lies. But this lie by Trump was ridiculously obvious, yet the right still defends it. You want to know what the real downfall of this country is, it’s the right wing in this country who accept the BS. Hell it started on day one when Trump said he never had sex with Stormy, and he had an NDA with her to prove it. When the right started defending that, that’s when I knew this country was lost.

Then Step 1. should be easy for you. ;-)

Credibility enhancement tip for Trump's opposition.
Step 1. When you quote Trump provide a source and a link.

First Tramp's is well known word for word, second after it is posted you still will not admit the truth that Tramp was talking about MUCH stronger than the anticipated tropical force winds.

I do not say that the risk had "risen".
NOAA admitted that the risk reached 30%. That is high enough to justify Trump's tweet.

30% was 2 days before Trump’s tweet. Then the risk to Alabama quickly shrunk back down.

So the opposite of what he said on Sunday - that it was most likely that Alabama would get hit much harder than anticipated.

    So what?

Was the NHC 30% risk figure right or wrong?

I assume it was right at the time it was issued - two days before Trump's tweet.

So if he had said that it was "most likely that Alabama will get hit much less than anticipated, if it is affected at all" - that would have been correct.

But he didn't say that. On Sunday he said that it was most likely that Alabama will get hit (much) harder than anticipated. That might have been true on Aug.30, but by Sep.1 it was the opposite of true.

    The timing is pretty important.

How does "Alabama, will most likely be hit (much) harder than anticipated" not confirm that Tramp predicted that Alabama would be hit by something MUCH harder than the anticipated tropical storm winds, namely hurricane force winds?????
It has already been proven that not one single HURRICANE advisory from NOAA and the NHC showed any part of Alabama being hit.
