    So, now planes have a mind of their own.

    Why do left-wingers have such a hard time admitting that what happened on 9/11/2001 was planned and executed by extreme Islamic radicals?

    The NYT should be a ashamed of itself.

    Really? This is what today's outrage is?

    So when people say "He died in a hail of bullets", does that suggest there was no shooter, and the bullets killed the person all by himself?

    Maybe if y'all's outrage buttons weren't permanently set to 11, you wouldn't post dumb threads like this.

    Also, "more than 2000" instead of nearly 3000.

    You can bet they have no problem naming names when it comes to slavery, jim crow, internment camps, etc.

    I guess they're just following Ilhan Omar's lead, some people did something, no big deal.

    I see mocking, not outrage. If you cannot see the difference between a plane taking aim and a hail of bullets, you are not in a position to make insults.

    It takes some serious squinting to see the OP as "mocking".

    Please explain the difference. Both focus on the object used, not the user. Neither is meant to imply there was not a user.

    Airliners do not deliberately kill people, but low-life Muslim terrorists who commandeer airliners and fly them into targets full of people do kill people.

    Please show us an article on "gun violence" where the term "the gun took aim and fired" was used.

    The phrase isn't even correct usage of the English language.

    Neither a gun, nor an airplane, can "take aim".

    Oh, I see. The issue here is "took aim".

    So the NYT commits clumsy phrasing in a tweet, and this is grounds for outrage and conspiracy theories?
