    No, I was not for the Iraq invasion. Afghanistan made sense, we had to do it butbIraq was stupid. The effort we expended in Iraq could have been better spent on Iran. Not an invasion but covert action causing problems for them inside of Iran. Turning them against each other. You know good honest black ops stuff.

    It’s a typical and patented GOP move to blame attacks on previous administrations. There are several Hannitized Ditto Heads here on this forum and throughout the GOP who are still blaming Clinton for the 9/11 attacks which were carried out while Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld and their crack National Security team sat picking their noses. That’s how they roll.

    He returned cash which had been confiscated after Iran took hostages in 1979. The hostages were released in 1981. Iran got their own money back 28 years later sans interest in exchange for a deal preventing them from making nuclear missles for 10 years and agreeing to inspections of their nuclear facilities. I guess you forgot that part. Lol

    So, let me get this straight:

    A US drone violates Iranian airspace, is then brought down by Iran (which was their right to do, we would have done the same thing had the shoe been on the other foot). Next, you think we should have bombed Iran to destroy the downed drone in Iranian territory, clearly an act of war, and unprovoked. In what kind of world would this sequence of events have been the right thing to do? Does nothing matter anymore and is "might makes right" the principle that US policy be conducted on?
