Saudi oil sales to China have doubled in the past year and China is wrapping up a sweetheart deal with Iran even now.

If OPEC goes to $100 a barrel, US producers will be charging $100 a barrel.

So nasdaq changed 0.25%. The last few weeks it jumps up and down by several %. Today change is not even noise.

A few days ago people were saying "nah, the price of a gallon of gas isn't going to rise". Repeating a phrase of Trump's that he uses frequently, "we'll see what happens".

Umm, a Republican president with low approval ratings that lost the national popular vote and an upcoming election... then calls to war...

This seems to be a repeat of some past event but I can’t seem to put my finger on it...

    Did Iran attack the US?

If not, why would we do anything about Iran? Let their neighbors handle it or the people they attacked.

Maybe we can take it out of the budget we send to Israel and say they paid for it?

Other than China's trade agreements, there's another part to this mess that could lead us to war with Iran. According to Erdogan, Turkey, together with Iran and Russia will take the war on terrorism to another level and annihilate the YPG terrorists in Syria East of the Euphrates.

To those not in the know, the YPG are the Kurds that Washington supports. They want them to establish an Israeli friendly Kurdish nation in the oil rich areas of Syria. This would not only deprive Assad of the funds necessary to rebuild his country, but will also draw a wedge between Syria and Iran. It would also cut through the Shia crescent Russia needs to protect its pipelines on its southern flanks from the jihadists in the Gulf states.

These Kurds are not indigenous to the area, so with Washington's prodding and help, they've been conducting an ethnic cleansing campaign against the indigenous Arabs who I assume are Shia with a sprinkling of Christians and other minorities.

The only statement made by Russia is that Syria must remain intact.

(Sing to the tune of Spring Is Busting Out All Over)

War is busting out all over,
from China to the Middle Sea
It's here and there, and everywhere
    as we shall shortly see.

Now chaos is my middle name,
which I am proud to say
and for the ones not in the know
it's called the American way.. Jeannette

Well, the drones had to come from somewhere. Who did the Houthi rebels buy them from?

... it crossed my mind that Bolton may have been fired specifically to start a war with Iran... (so it's not "Bolton's war"). What concerns me is that we are globally heading for a financial crisis... the one we were suppose to have had 10 years ago plus 10 years of out of control debt. The ******* industry (Financial bankers) will see this as a good opportunity to save themselves with funding weapons sales... so they will need a war that never ends...??... which way will it fall?

The hell with cities. Take out Iranian naval assets, radar installations, antinaircraft sites, military airfields, and civilian airfields if they disperse their military craft to civilian airports. Too bad the nuclear stuff us most likely in hardened sites because that needs a few whacks also.

I don't see the Americans withdrawing from NE Syria in a scenario of increasing conflict, it's a valuable piece of real estate in a very hostile environment. Considering the oil in Golan Heights... if Hezbollah and Israel is engaged in a conflict over the G/heights the Americans will get involved since they hold the drilling rights.... or their Murdocs and Cheyney's do anyway.... then there is also Southern Iraq. I just don't see them giving up this territory in NE Syria...

Israel has easy access to offshore drilling. I doubt they will develop oilfields in the Golan in the foreseeable future.

He's an ignoramus.. NO OIL FIELDS were impacted. The refinery (largest in the world) refines heavy sour crude to light, sweet crude. He's making it up as he goes along. Find a better source for your information.

This sounds like someone beholden to the same group who's interests
lie with the nuclear-aspiring dictators of Iran - the ones who fuel terrorism
and Shiite war, and put women in prison for what they wear.

I am sure the Houthis don't make their own cruise missiles.

The refineries are where the most bang for the buck. It causes the final product to choke.
