I have a roof on my house and no one is tunneling underneath my walls or cutting through my walls. My house walls main purpose is to keep my house warm and dry.

Trump is just speaking to the layman who doesn't know the difference between # 4 rebar and #6 rebar or knowledge about concrete.

Many people who listens to someone using big words that they don't understand actually believe the person is smart.

We saw that during the 2004 Presidential election, Bush and self proclaimed war hero, John Kerry.
Many would listen to Kerry using big words and believed that Kerry was a really self proclaimed smart war hero and George W. Bush was dumb as rocks.

But when they compared Bush's SAT scores, officers qualification test scores and the military GCT scores to Kerry's scores it ends up Bush had a higher IQ and scored higher on all of the military test and it was Kerry who was dumb as a rock.

While Kerry shot himself (self inflicted wounds) a few times in Vietnam, Bush was flying one of the most difficult fighters to fly, the F-102 and was considered better than average at it.

 

There are stories every day of criminal illegal aliens who were deported time after time but keep coming back

 

What, you really think that a closed window is a deterrent to a determined intruder? Have you not heard of a brick and what damage they can do to glass?

 

The situation was so bad where I lived, we formed a citizens militia to protect our selves and out neighbors, after years of begging the government for help. We called a meeting with our Congressman and State officials to inform them we were beginning patrols. It scared the hell out of the government, and they stopped the problem within a year. That is real life.

 

That could be because the Democrats in California's state legislature in Sacramento still have the welcome mat out at the border.

And in time it will disintegrate from disuse, or become a tourist attraction like every other "wall" that's ever been built.

Hadrian's Wall, The Berlin Wall, The Great Wall Of China, The Maginot Line, all built to either keep someone in or out, and sometimes both. None of which worked to any great degree, and were summarily abandoned.

Learn your history, or be damned to repeat it's failures.

 

Or we can repair and/or improve it..... like we're doing with sections of the current wall barrier.....

Obviously I am not a fan of a 1200 mile wall but I have said that there are places that a wall is applicable. I also said more patrols both human and drone, razor wire, barbed wire, quick response teams, observation towers. And beef up jthe Coast Guard. Those are border security functions.

Do you believe that a 1200 wall is the only way for border security! I do not believe that you do but I think that you are in favor of at least some of the things I proposed.

Back to Trump and the Mexicans paying for the wall. No I never believed that Mexico would pay but I believe that Trump did not believe it either. The reason I am disgusted with the Mexico will pay Lie is because it is just a campaign slogan to snag those who do not think for themselves.
