Exactly! So, you are for building the wall. Good to know.

Maybe try reading my post again, and actually answer it this time.

This is not the new border wall. This is the old border wall. Why are you comparing the old with the new?

That we got a new carpet to replace the existing one. Which is not the same as getting a new rug for an area that never had a rug.
One is replacing an existing old carpet, the other is new to an area that never had a rug.

Why don't you explain the difference between the two?

The new one is 30' tall and has flat metal sheets near the top to make it harder to get to the top.

Haven't you seen the new border wall?

Right...a new carpet replacing an old carpet. Even you should be able to grasp that concept

Considering that the entire discussion about the border wall has been "new wall VERSUS replacement wall", your attempt at redefining the debate to claim that "replacement wall IS new wall" is kind of pathetic.

Yes, the wall is new. No, it doesn't represent "new wall" in the context of the border wall discussion.

So, you agree that it is "new"? Good to know.

You realize you look ridiculous, right?

Here's a chance to redeem yourself: Go back to my post where I pointed out that windows aren't a meaningful barrier to bad guys, and answer the question I posed: If it's not your house walls keeping the bad guys out (because house walls are full of windows), what is it?

Replacing an old one. Sad you don't know this

When you get new tires for your car, do you add four more and just replace the existing four?

And when you do replace the existing four tires, do you say...."I replaced my tires" or do you say...."I got new tires."

    Inquiring minds want to know.

If walls don't work, then tear down the walls of your house.

The post you quoted is pretty self-explanatory. When the entire debate is framed as "new wall VERSUS replacement wall", trying to claim they are the same thing just makes you look dumb. And a little desperate.

I'm not the one looking ridiculous. It's you left-wingers who are looking ridiculous.

The roof would fall down. And the house would get cold and damp. You're clearly not very bright if you do not know that

Vertical support beams would be enough to hold up the roof.

    Now tear down those walls.

So to be clear, you refuse to actually answer the question of "what keeps the bad guys out of your house, now that we know it's not your window-filled walls?"

Is it because you don't know the answer, or because you know but don't want to say?

I would say I replaced my four tires because that is in fact what occurred. But even if I said "I got new tires", anyone with a thinking brain would know I, in fact, REPLACED existing ones because it would be assumed, rightfully so, that my car already had tires.

Such hyperbole. Your glorious wall is going to be a tourist attraction in 100 years. An example of the failure that will be Trump's legacy.

Perhaps you could explain how the damp and cold would be kept out? Do you actually know anything about anything? Hey, why don't you explain how "powerful" the concrete and rebar is in those "new" walls?
