They can't tackle pollution they don't have the ability. They can't even keep their streets from being a cesspool.

they need to be able to solve their own local problems before they can save the world.

CARB was adopted by several states which is why the federal government had to get involved. California setting their own laws does not meet that bar.

It might be “over” (depending on the courts) but that is only temporary. It will be immediately reversed in 1 to 5 years when a semblance of sanity is restored.

They are not trying to save the world. They are implementing processes that involve products brought or sold in their state.

CARB was created by Reagan in the late 60s was before the Clean Air Act, it’s been given an exemption by the epa...not sure if the exemption is closed what legal standing they have to have it overturned? Do tell. The exemption is because it does violated the law, hence why the need for a exemption

Its not just about feces in the street, its about residents of san francisco, Men, Women, Children have to be subjected to anyone who wants to dropping their pants and yanking up their dress an go right there in public, defecate, urinate, masturbate. There is disease in transmitted in human feces.

Why should any taxpayer but subjected to that because liberals do NOT even attempt to fix the problem and disallow their police from doing their job.

I was out in San Fran like last month, and I heard a bartender in a hotel bar talking about how they had to get the door from the back of the bar out to the alley replaced again(yes, again) because the urine of the homeless had corroded a hole all the way through the door, again, and soon it would be big enough for the rats to crawl through.

    Mull that over.

It’s not Cali’s job to regulate interstate commerce. In fact without and exemption it’s illegal. They should really focus on the harm they are causing the environment by allowing human waste and used drug needles to flow in the oceans instead of worrying about what type of car someone wants to buy in ohio

It's up to the cities to address it. The EPA will be there to fine cities that allow urination and defecation on the public walkways.

They should absolutely work on fixing their homelessness and drug issues.

As well as regulating products that are sold within their borders to combat air pollution.

I can’t understand the rights fascination with wanting more pollution, even to the point of implementing law to prevent others from addressing it.

Priority one should be not being a third world **** hole. Then after you figure that out then you can worry about first world problems.

I don't understand how anybody can be authoritative on environmentalism with cases of typhus because the people in their City won't s*** in a toilet.

This is about public health and if you don't have public health no amount of caring about the environment will do any good because you're dark ages illnesses that we figured out how to avoid centuries ago are threatening to become plagues.

So any of their efforts to talk about climate change what we do to clean up the environment are all just a sad little joke because they're living in medieval times.

Are you fully hard but there are cases of bubonic plague.

There is no but to that. Your city is a dump you are an idiot for letting that happen and anything you say about the environment is worthless because you can't keep people from getting diseases that were almost wiped out three centuries ago.

What they should do is start arresting people for using drugs and being high in public.

It's like the summer of love all over again.

California is the fifth largest economy on the planet.
If that’s a “third would shithole” I would hate to see what you consider the rest of the nation.

yet they can't stop people from shiting in the streets. Proof positive the stupidest people on earth even with vast resources can create third world problems is the resplendent first world Haven they were given.

Stating this serves to make them look worse.
Well when I walk down the street and say one of the poorest states in the Union Arkansas or West Virginia I don't smell fermented human excrement everywhere I walk.

So outside of Portland Oregon and Seattle, Detroit and maybe la, they are superior places. Without having more money. In many places having far less.

So what this tells me is the tax burden placed on the people of California is being squandered.

Squandering other people's fortunes is a definite sign a third world country.

I wonder what you're going to say to you when the economy tanks.

So you are saying having large density population areas create issues not found in smaller rural areas? Do, go on. This is groundbreaking information.

They could always do like my (deep red) state does and give the homeless bus passes to other areas.

As for their economy crashing, they are one of the fastest growing state in the nation by gdp, guess what political ideology compromise the bottom 10?

It would be a blessing to the State of California if a plague of their own making wiped them out.

For once I actually totally agree with you here. These cities are just letting the homeless throw their trash everywhere and its filthy. We need to put a stop to it.

no but nice straw man. I live in Houston Texas a city whose population is over double that of San Francisco. There is not a problem with human excrement in the streets here.

So densely populated isn't an excuse It's shity governance.

Magically somehow Houston a city that's broke is able not to have fermenting human waste in the streets.

it seems like the best thing to do let's send them to San Francisco Portland and Seattle. They want to go there all the drugs they can do nobody on arrest them and they can shed anywhere they want.

It seems just the perfect place for them

Yet they're having problems from the f****** dark ages.

This is the kind of s*** that cause the plates you know that right?

you know when these horrible hellhole red states are we actually have sewage treatment and arrest people for sleeping in the streets we don't have dark age problems.
