Minors can't make such decisions because they do not have the capacity to do so.

Its not ad homing, its a refutation of the claim of qualification by disorder.
She herself, her parents, and her handlers, push her series of disorders and the particular triggers of them as giving her a special insight. They claim they make her qualified to discuss this topic and make demands that we switch to command economics and cut emissions more than 70% (do you have ANY idea what that would LOOK like?) and talk a whole lot of **** about how we're all thieves who stole from her. I'm simply pointing out that her own descriptions list that she is in a panic all day every day, and that is again BY HER OWN ADMISSION an artifact of her disorders that first manifested itself when her parents FREAKED HER OUT so they could write a ****ing book. Pointing out her admissions is not ad hom. Pointing out the disorders she touts as qualifications for insight, paired with her admissions, provides compelling and to date unrefuted evidence that her disorders are the root of her panic not any rationally based fear, is likewise not ad hom.

You can't really say she claimed to be qualified by disorder though. She literally said listen to the experts, not me. She said her condition allows her to see the world differently, not that it made her more qualified, which is true. I agree the book part and the fame the parents got feels a little bit like exploitation, but even if true, if the girl is actually happy and content with everything good on her. And she still deserves respect for her charisma and putting herself out there in front of the entire world. Most adults couldn't do that. Also, mind you she never mentioned the US, as the US was not part of the cooperation who made any promises, whether or not this is good or bad doesn't matter. I'm just being as fair as possible to the content.
