    Again with this imbecilic post? He said some studies show that maybe as soon as 2016, worst case scenario. FYI 2012 had the least ice since satellites gave us the ability to measure it and this year was the 2nd lowest. The reality is that we have seen a 50% reduction in the sea ice levels and that in another 20 years could see periods of ice free arctic seas. Some nations have made changes, even some Americans and that helps to delay but Americans remain hostile as a nation and are still the biggest offenders. If we as a nation make heroic efforts now we can still delay the day of reckoning and maybe the maligned scientists can come up with a solution that reverses the effects.

    There was a time when people strove to make things better for future generations, now we are telling our kids not to go to college, accept lower pay and are playing chicken with God over the environment. God don't blink.

    What part of the word could are you having trouble with?
    If I said the second coming of Christ could be as early as 2020 and we swear in the 47th president with no sign of Christ does that mean to you that Christ won't be coming in 2021 or not ever?

    Not altogether rare for kids to accidentally shoot themselves or another because they found a gun and picked it up in ignorance. Kids should know basic gun safety and guns should be stored out of reach of kids. I grew up with a shotgun, 22 rifle and .38 revolver in reach. Unbeknownst to mom and Grandma, I used to take those guns and shoot in the woods alone. I was taught what guns do, from an early age.

    What kid, brought up on tv, doesn’t know what guns do? Obviously the guns weren’t out of your reach.

    Seeing it on TV vs the real thing, are two different things. I was raised in the 80's in the country, times were different but yes, even so those guns should have been secured.

    Telling a kid vs showing them...and TV is not a very accurate way to convey it.
    Another thing, my mom and dad were divorced, he was around on weekends but just to pick me up. Had he known those guns were in my reach, he'd of fixed that
