Hardly, a handful of radical usurpers isn't really the people, its just whiny liberals with way too much power. Likely this will blow over like every other liberal attempt to undo a lawful election. Shameful...

Trump did get less votes for President than Hillary. That’s a fact. And he only won in the electoral college because of winner take all states. His election was legitimate but it does not actually reflect the will of the people. It reflects our antiquated election system.

That's the system, if you don't like it get an amendment or go live somewhere with the kind of democracy you crave. You completely ignore the fact that tens of millions didn't vote at all. If you have intention of relying on a 'popular' vote you need participation around 85-90%, otherwise it simply an attempt to usurp the Constitution and give all control of the country to whiny city critters, instead of a more balanced and representative approach that actually takes every state into account...

No changing the way states apportion electoral votes would not usurp the Constitution.
It might behave you to actually read it someday. And it is genuinely ridiculous to pretend that who wins the popular vote should somehow count those that didn’t vote.

In fact two states already apportion their electoral votes.

Wasn't around for the Nixon thing. As to Clinton, I think the evidence of perjury was pretty clear, and presented as such. Not this clown show you liberals are running, with new fantastical allegations every week. What have we seen so far? We've seen liberals attempt to get elector to switch their votes to Hillary, remember that? We had riots on inauguration day, we've had Stormy, we've had collusion. Why should I give a damn what you folks are whining about now? Why would I believe for one second this isn't just another farce? I can't find a reason not see this as just more liberal whining, unsupported by reality...

Of course it would, it would give undue power to urban areas. Have you not ever seen electoral map?

Saying there is a popular vote and ignoring the fact more people didn't vote at all than voted for either candidate is ridiculous.

my mistake I thought your whining about impeachment was because impeachment was somehow overturning the Constitution and the results of the electoral college.

So what was your problem with impeachment again?

Sorry but two states already apportion electoral colleges votes according to the popular vote. Try again.

The electors are not all governed in the same manner in every state. And your implications of saying "you people" is most illogical considering I am only one person and have never considered any adverse actions upon the system nor have I ever whined about the electoral college.

    WON'T Happen.

Also, Trump's Absurd Tweet (referenced in the OP) is the Ranting and Raving of a PARANOID Lunatic (that most people have ceased taking seriously).

    ^So, there's that. :salute:

Russia threatens Europe. China threatens the US and the world.
There are probably more Chinese Christians than Russian Christians.

The Soviets were very democratic - and short lived.

"Thus he [Lenin] could extol with great sincerity in 1905
'the revolutionary creativity of the people', who spontaneously
had begun to establish an entirely new power structure in the
midst of revolution, 65 just as, twelve years later, he could let loose
and win the October Revolution with the slogan : 'All power to
the Soviets' But during the years that separated the two revolu-
tions he had done nothing to reorient his thought and to in-
corporate the new organs into any of the many party pro-
grammes, with the result that the same spontaneous develop-
ment in 1917 found him and his party no less unprepared than
they had been in 1905. When, finally, during the Kronstadt
rebellion, the Soviets revolted against the party dictatorship and
the incompatibility of the new councils with the party system
became manifest, he decided almost at once to crush the councils,
since they threatened the power monopoly of the Bolshevik
party. The name 'Soviet Union' for post-revolutionary Russia has
been a lie ever since, but this lie has also contained, ever since,
the grudging admission of the overwhelming popularity, not of
the Bolshevik party, but of the soviet system which the party
    reduced to impotence."

And so I've heard since 2016, but even Mueller was not able to bring Trump down and you were sure that was it. And now... the Ukraine is it?

Better practice screaming to the sky :D

We have Trump's words to bring him down and more to follow. Must be some reason he is freaking out. Unless of course it is just that his diaper needs changing.

I just do not see a reason to exercise my brain, mulling over the same "facts" over and over again. Hey, here's an idea - let's let AG Barr look into all the facts surrounding Russia meddling and the origins of that FBI probe?

Ah yes... last I heard he IS looking :)

Funny you can’t post videos of Pelosi or Schiff or Cummings or anyone in the Democratic hierarchy screaming at the sky.

To put it simply it was developed back when there was limited news availability so the electors were in charge because they had more knowledge of national events and were supposedly able to cast more informed votes. It is now a ridiculous system that disenfranchises the votes of Hugh numbers of voters If they are a member of the party which is a significant minority in that state.

I didn’t know the electoral college was designed to differentiate between city voters and rural voters. Care to post your evidence.

Why the hell would states stay in a union where their interests had no chance of ever winning out over more populated states? The country would disintegrate. That is just common sense.

I dunno, just a stab at it, lol...

'Cons' (re. Constitution) - cus it limits the full realization of unbridled personal freedoms...
'Libs' (re. Socialism) - cus it doesn't completely quell the innate (God-given) desire for personal freedoms...
