You are literally quoting me where I present you with several pieces of proof that there is a connection. I can add on the fact that immediately after the President of Ukraine raised his country's need for military aid is the first time you have trump referencing his "need for a favor."

 

Conjecture is not proof.

And President Zelensky has already stated that he did NOT feel pressured during the phone call and was unaware that the aid was frozen until after the call.

 

If this whistle blower doesn't work out they will develop more and more of them. Ain't politics grand?

 

I did not offer any conjecture. All of those aspects are actual facts. The word you are looking for is "circumstantial" and yes, "circumstantial evidence" is still evidence.

There are only a very few select handful of crimes where the publicly stated and subjective feelings of the victim matter in determining whether a crime has occurred. And none of those apply to an abuse of power allegation.

I don't think the transcripts establish that at all. Be that as it may, if you believe that, than the transcripts are all you need for impeachment. So what's the big deal about a second whistleblower, or the 200th?

 

Maybe we'll have a whistleblower every week to keep the public's interest up during these non impeachment hearings.

 

I get that the transcripts are technically not transcripts. They are more like gists of the conversations. However unless you think the officers and national security staff who prepared this released document are actively trying to distort the content of the phone call, there shouldn't be much difference. So I'm guessing that you DO think they fudged the document, correct?

 

Because the WB was under attacks for being partisan, having 2nd knowledge and going to an Intel committe aid. I agree with you that none of those distractions mattered. But they matter less with a 2nd WB.

I don't know the second whistleblower's complaint any more than I know what the (soon likely) 40th whistleblower's complaint is, but knowing what the first whistleblower's complaint was, and comparing that to the actual released transcripts, I know that was BS. So is it surprising that I have a healthy skepticism? The same people who've been telling me for years that Trump would be out of office by now and in jail for treason are now telling me that multiple whistleblowers have got it right this time, even though it contradicts the transcript on the call.

Wake me when you have real evidence. So far...nothing.

 

If the 2nd WB says the same thing as the first, it still contradicts the transcript. So what difference does it make?
