Imagine my surprise that you can take objective reality and contort it to fit whatever narrative you choose.
You must have listened intently when Don told you......."What you're seeing and what you're reading is not what's happening."

That may be the most ironic statement I’ve ever seen on PF. :)
Is that statement incorrect? In the context of your “fine people” narrative, do you not see the elements of truth?

Prosecution is not an issue. To quote Lee Atwater, " … he and his legal team have characterized the constitutionally protected obligation of Congress to investigate potential wrongdoing on his part as unconstitutional."

Dud you missed the Constitutional Law session at Law School?

Trump never "referred to torch carrying white nationalist zealots as fine people."

What he said was that there were very fine people on both sides. And there were very fine people on both sides and there were some very bad people on both sides.

He never said that ALL the people on both sides were fine people.

We've tried to explain this to you left-wingers but you seem to have failed to comprehend that there were very find people on both sides.

Here. Let me put it in simple terms so that even you can comprehend.

There were two groups of people at the gathering.

One group of people wanted the confederate monuments torn down and the other group of people wanted the confederate monuments to remain.

The group that wanted the confederate monuments torn down had both good people (peaceful) and bad people (Antifa, etc.).

The group that wanted the confederate monuments to remain had both good people (peaceful, like me) and bad people (NAZIS, etc.).

    Do you comprehend now?

Of course I can. But you have no interest in the answer or what I believe- you just seek a platform to rant. That's the substance of all your posts- why should I expect otherwise?

I barely made it past the first lie in the OP. Trump did not refer to any white nationalists, racists or whatever dog whistle term used by Trump haters. This is a well known fact.

The Ukrainian leader himself has said there was no pressure or quid pro quo. So how many more lies will Trump haters tell before the election?

Everything in the Vox piece has relevance to our discussion but I see you failed to learn anything from the it, if you read it at all. In that regard I find myself thoroughly unsurprised. I've grown quite accustomed to Trump supporters fastidiously avoiding uncomfortable truths. Allow me to help you stop hiding from one.

One of the pathetic, back paddling rationalizations the Bigot-in-Chief used to justify his "very fine people on both sides" remark was.......... “I was talking about people that went because they felt very strongly about the monument to Robert E. Lee,” Trump told reporters. “People there were protesting the taking down of the monument to Robert E. Lee. Everybody knows that.”

Here comes the reality........you may want to avert your eyes.

"Unite the Right was explicitly organized and branded as a far-right, racist, and white supremacist event by far-right racist white supremacists. This was clear for months before the march actually occurred. So by casting the rally instead as a sort of spontaneous outpouring from Confederate statue enthusiasts, Trump is rewriting history."

As you know, or perhaps not, the article contains a lot of detail making a mockery of your argument. Which is no doubt why you said............"Learn something from Vox? Surely you jest."

The Cipollone Letter: Trouble in the White House Counsel’s Office

"White House Counsel Pat Cipollone’s letter to the House leadership, declaring that the president will not cooperate in any impeachment inquiry, is an extraordinary document in more than one respect. As Keith Whittington and Frank Bowman have shown, the letter’s constitutional and “legal” arguments are baseless. It misrepresents the constitutional law and precedent that it is pleading on the president’s behalf. On the merits, it is an exceptionally weak performance. Add to this another deficiency: its glaring failure to effectively represent the institutional interests of the presidency."

I read it. That’s how I know there’s nothing new or exciting or intelligent in it. It’s the same old thing. There’s nothing uncomfortable about any of it except the fact you are still confused after all this time.

    Sounds accurate, not pathetic.

    Funny.

Irrelevant. The facts are that some people were there who were “fine people”. On both sides. How you spin it or Vox spins it is irrelevant.

The article is the same old nonsense. People who think for themselves had this all figured out at the time. None of this is complicated. We don’t need some clown at Vox to interpret something so simple. I’m sorry you still need them to do your thinking.

The reason you can’t learn anything from Vox is because that isn’t the point of their platform. They don’t want you to “learn”, they want you to repeat what they tell you. You are doing them proud.

That is a lie and you know it, just because your leftist heroes Maddox and Hartman or the Young Turks reports that, doesn't mean its true

Learn to do independent research and form your own opinion based on you know "actual facts"

    Adultery, LMFAO
You mean like Bill Clinton, Elliot Spitzer, JFK, his scumbag brother Teddy who let a woman drown in Chappaquiddick?

What does any of this have to do with Trump's presidency?
Is he banging interns or getting his knob polished in the white house like Bubba Clinton?

Is Trump doing things in the white house like what JFK did?

This is funny on so many levels from the lies you still believe to the blatant hypocrisy.

NO, I just refuse to enter an argument with a person who really doesn't care about anything but feeding his own beliefs.
I don't think you are capable of legitimate discussion. That would require a balanced judgement, not a grossly biased one.

We will never know if you are capable of legitimate discussion as all you post is :blahblah::blahblah::blahblah:.

I've done everything I can think of to get you to come out from behind the veil of saying nothing and engaging in substantive debate, but you refuse. I would think if you believe your positions on issues to be superior in any way you would be eager to espouse them and in so doing prove me wrong about.........anything. Yet, you do not. Instead, you make excuses for why you don't even try. We both know why.

And there is a better argument anyway.
The fourth amendment requires that you can't just grab people's stuff in the hope that something might be there. The constitution frowns heavily on that sort of fishing expedition.

Well when you misconstrue everything Trump says and does it totally makes sense that you'd think the way you do.

You don't know why. In my world, genuine honor requires self-respect, and self-respect means you live by rules that you can admire without lying to yourself. Since you seem unable to write a post without insult, slander or accusing those who don't agree with your politics of being scum, I have to conclude- my opinion- you could not have self-respect, and therefore could not have honor. I've never seen you "discuss" anything. Your mission, which the nature of your posts make clear, is a vendetta against Trump. There's nothing fair about your position or tactics, no self-regulation of character in my opinion. I don't need to prove you "wrong". You do that every time you post another rant. Your position and your conclusions are clear. It's tunnel vision. You see nothing else but your hate for the president and all who support him, and nothing else matters. There is nothing to "discuss" under those circumstances. IF and when you come to understand these things- THEN you will know the Why of it.

Well, you've done a fine job of re-stating the Bigot-in-Chief's (and your) position. Sadly, the facts do not support it as the Vox article explains in granular detail.
