    Smith's role was NOT speaking his mind. He was supposed to be in charge of HARD NEWS, that mean no opinion no speaking his mind. He could not maintain that role due to his OBVIOUS and and EXPRESSED hatred of President Trump. He needs to move to a role where it is not hard news rather being a pundit. Perhaps a network will hire him for that role.

    Smith wasn't a journalist he was a hard new anchor and manager, he failed at that role. Wallace was supposed to be the other neutral anchor but even he has been showing his anti-Trump disposition. Baier is one of the best in the business.

    TBH, I never really understood why Shep was on Fox News in the first place. The only people that seem to like him do not watch Fox News.

    I find it amazing how all the Trumpsters have become well versed in doublespeak, but have no clue how meaningless it all is. Trump has got them lemmings by the balls....and they enjoy it!

    I'll always remember Shep commentating a helicopter-car chase. When the driver went off-road in BFE, got stuck and got out oft car, Shep started acting all worried. Then, sure enough, the guy pulled out a revolver. Shep started yelling 'cut the feed!' but they didn't and the guy blew his brains out on national TV.

    I still think they showed it on purpose and Shep was pretending like it was an accident.

    The guy is an absolute Tool of the MSM.He belongs at MSNBC who
    payed him a compliment a few years ago { Chris Matthews } as The only
    person at Fox who is worth watching.That pretty much explains it all.
    I also notice how this Shep creep has this nauseauting look on his
    little pug snapper dog mug.He lives to Tow whatever breaking news media
    event happens.He faithfully buys into whatever MSM Breaking news
    event occurs.That is proof what a schmuck Mainstream Media hack he is.
    He's not on the side of Truth.What a load of malarkey.He's TOTALLY,
    100 % on the side of whatever the MSM reports as if Gospel.
    No curiosity whatever.Takes whatever the MSM reports and runs with it.
    Making sure to use the " conspiracy theory " tag on anyone daring to even
    slightly question what is being reported.I don't know how he was rewarded with his
    own hour { 3 PM }.Probably because that is about The weakest hour in daytime.
    Good riddance.On second thought ...

    I keep thinking about what Britt Hume once said about Juan Williams
    a regular on the Hume All Stars panel { Special Report }. He said proudly
    How he Loves Juan.Like Juan is his best buddy.Pretty innoucuous and
    friendly statement.However I doubt Hume could say that Today after
    any Juan Williams appearance on - The Five -.Williams must be getting
    payed to play Devils Advocate.He is so bias and one-sided in his loathing
    of any and all things Trump ... it's almost surreal.Plus Williams { like the
    good loyal MSM stooge he was born to be } constantly uses POLLS
    to verify his claims.Plus the use of " I don't think so ".
    Which is a version of the Al Sharpton " I THINK DAT ! ". Which Sharpton
    has used at least 1o,ooo or more times the last 20 years.
    Williams is surely headed the way of Shepard Smith.But he'll have to
    be yanked off the show by some hook.He serves no purpose.He's just
    a once-sided excuse for a differing opinion.Again using POLLS.
    He's the Rachel Maddow of gents.

    Smith is a liberal Trump hater. Given that fact, I think he was a reasonable critic compared to CNN, MSNBC etc. I'm not sure why people hate to hear opposing views but I think he made his contributions. Apparently the population wishes to be even more divided.

    Since he was put in charge of the daily hard news and Trump was elected he tried to become a Hannity or Carlson and injecting not just his opinion but his emotional hatred of Trump and the Republicans and conservatives. He should find a happy home on MSNBC if he wants to play that part.
