And continued by Trump. Just two weeks ago 30 farmers were killed in Afghanistan by a drone. The US Foreign Policy does not change whoever is President

You aren't getting away with it. Everyone informed knows that Obama's adminisration screwed big time. They left total mess behind them. Obama betrayed the Turkish opposition.

Obama administration was spectacularly wrong about Erdoğan - ex-aide

    Excerpt

Former U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration was spectacularly wrong in its reasoning for working with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and believing Turkish civil society could succeed in containing the increasingly authoritarian leader, former U.S. State Department advisor Jeremy Shapiro wrote on the European Council on Foreign Relations website.

“Oh, c’mon, Erdoğan isn’t that bad – more to the point, he is the democratically elected leader of the country, so we have to deal with him,” Shapiro said was a line he often used in the early years after Erdoğan came to power in 2003 in response to warnings from Turkish friends.

At the time, Shapiro said he believed his Turkish friends “lacked objectivity and were too involved in their domestic struggles to see the bigger picture. America had to deal with the leader the Turkish people gave us and do our best with him. Erdoğan was not America’s first choice – but, hey, democracy is messy, and it wasn’t our choice after all”.

You want boots on the ground?

You sure seem preoccupied with blaming Obama for Trump.

It may be because your devotion to your p-grabbing messiah is emotional that you are incapable of offering an intellectually coherent defense and respecting the truth.

The Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces had been loyal allies of the US in their successful fight against Islamic State before being betrayed by Fake Don. Your dependence upon claims that are obviously untrue does not validate your fanatical zeal for Trumpery. If anything, it underscores its absurdity.

Fake Don's precipitous betrayal of our allies is a despicable betrayal of American values, and a disastrous reversal of the successful fight against IS that had been waged by the SDF. Besides IS, Russia and Iran are the big winners in Fake Don's treachery.

"Over four years, the SDF ... sustained nearly 11,000 casualties.
By comparison, six U.S. service members, as well as
two civilians, have been killed in the anti-ISIS campaign."

Irrational lies about the Syrian Defense Forces do not serve as a credible defense of Fake Don's betrayal of a loyal and effective ally in the fight against Islamic State.

Your falsehood contradicts your messiah's own phony pretense:

On Oct 5th NPR reported 1,000 US troops in Syria and their sources are solid. Either Trump lied or he didn't know.

I'd rather neither. You want my soldiers to die for a pointless conflict that Europe, or maybe... the ARAB LEAGUE should handle.

U.S. troops withdraw from another Syrian town as Turkish forces cut off supply lines
The withdrawal came amid reports that hundreds of Islamic State supporters may have escaped from a camp housing displaced people in the town of Ain Issa, taking advantage of the mayhem that ensued as Turkish artillery pounded the area.

The Kurdish administration in northeastern Syria said in a statement that 785 people affiliated to the Islamic State were among those who got away, escaping from a camp that had housed 12,000 displaced people, mostly women and children.

    Your soldiers?

Trump made a promise to the Kurds which obviously counts for nothing. Last week Trump told Erdogan that he would destroy Turkey's economy if Erdogan attacked the Kurds.. LOLOL.. so much for "Alpha Males"..

My neighbor met Trump at beauty pageant in Miami years ago.. She said he was a stand out because of the way he pawed the contestants... and creepy as hell even then.

Yes, my soldiers. I would expect a foreign policy expert such as yourself to understand the Officer's Creed.

Now, once again, why does the United States need to fight this? Why aren't the European's deploying massive battalions and divisions to stop this?

It's very odd that you seem so set that my men need to die for your needless war.

Ugh. They weren't there to fight. Turkey was our ally and they weren't going to attack with our troops there. Until we got out of the way to make room. Not to me to mention the ISIS fighters there who are currently escaping because of the chaos created. So the worst possible decision. Instead we sent 1000 more troops to Saudi Arabia. And we did not leave Syria. Not one US soldier left. We are still there. Why haven't we left?

Lmao how? We ARE STILL THERE. And we just sent more troops to defend Saudi oil. Please tell me again how that "smacked down the military industrial complex"?

How does allowing(Probably for trumps financial gain) an ally to attack friendlies and illegally attack sovereign soil, releasing ISIS in the process "smack down the complex"? Blind lemmings are the worst sort.

Are we in the middle of an endless war in Saudi Arabia? The conflict by Turkey, a NATO ally, has been going on for some time. Now the left wants us to stay inbetween warring actions and get our own troops killed for other countries wars.

On top of that, the left also wants to kill oil and gas in this country by both making extraction and transport illegal (Warren) and not helping allies that produce oil to hurt our own people.

    Such is TDS.

The current Turkish attack has only been going on since Trump allowed it to happen for personal financial reasons. 4 days. If that's a "while", sure.

Interesting to note Turkey is now using ISIS backed terrorists to kill more Kurds.

Christian Leaders Say Turkish Invasion Of Syria Raises Risk Of 'Genocide'

    https://www.npr.org/2019/10/09/7686...sh-back-on-turkish-invasion-of-northern-syria

3 days ago · About 40,000 or 50,000 Christians live in the area under attack, according to Ishak, president of the Syriac National Council of Syria, and U.S. Christian leaders have been almost unanimous in...

    Excerpt:

The airstrikes and artillery bombardments had barely begun in the Syrian city of Qamishli, just across the border from Turkey, when Bassam Ishak's cellphone began ringing.

"People were so scared," Ishak said. "They were telling me, 'They are bombing us right now!' "

Ishak, a Syriac Christian leader, was in Irbil, Iraq, monitoring developments along the Syria-Turkey border.

Turkey Launches Offensive Against Kurds In Northern Syria

"The attacks are widespread," Ishak told NPR by phone. "They are targeting residential areas in Qamishli, where people of all religious backgrounds live. We think this is a message to the Kurds and Christians there to leave, so Turkey can move refugees there. We think it's a form of ethnic cleansing."

I prefer to listen to those actually involved but again you on the left have criticized our military actions in the ME and other countries, demand we bring our troops home and not be the "policemen of the world", that it's none of our business and if course the "what about the families of our military who are killed"

What's changed Trump ran on a policy to bring the troops home I would think you would support.
