So says Comey, who bears much responsibility for Trump getting elected in the first place. I wonder how his own self-assessment deals with that?

Ah, the lefty wet dream. What will the lefties do as the Ukraine hysteria collapses? Will it be impeachment because Trump had two scoops of ice cream without approval from Schiff for brains?

Conditions had already been met, which is why congress had already okay'd and allotted the aid money for Ukraine. It wasn't up to Trump. Only congress can make spending decisions. Trump's agenda was personal and had nothing to do with anyone else's corruption but his own.

The second paragraph on comment #12 seems applicable to you.

I've always thought that if someone wants to believe a thing, little to no evidence is required. But if someone does not want to believe a thing, all the evidence in the universe won't convince them.

    yes, I understand
But “what if?” what you became convinced that something illegal had happened?
What would the line that would have to be crossed?
What would be the minimum illegality that... if you were convinced that xyz happened... then you would agree that trump should be impeached

    Proof?

Oh, never mind. I already know you can't prove that about the Steele report, nor can you prove anything about Joe or Hunter Biden. It may have been ill-advised to work for a Ukrainian company during turbulent times while your dad is VP, but it wasn't criminal.

I shouldn't troll conspiracy theorists so early on a Sunday. Apologies.

Neither do I. Facts do become evident if you do a little research, though, and chose even-handed sources. How many great big billowing clouds of smoke do you need to see before you tell yourself "Hmm ... there just may be a fire."?

I fully agree, although I suspect I see that assessment in a different group of people than you do.

As per #12, reading is not the problem. It is understanding and interpreting what one reads where the problems arise. I've read the transcript and the complaint and heard the words of both principals on the call, and there was nothing inappropriate or untoward in the phone call. But others disagree and say things like "I know he didn't say that, BUT HE MEANT IT!"

no, trump was even MORE aggressive
He stopped planned aid, then explained the “favor” required to be considered a friend

Did he say, "unless they fire the prosecutor in 6 hours, we will with hold the (whatever billion) in aide $?" Does the left even give two little turds about that? No..no they do not, not ONE. LITTLE. BIT.
I need to invent a machine that converts hypocrisy into money. Be richer than Bill Gates...
I take it then you fully agree with FatBack........

A vote is not required for an impeachment inquiry, and even if it were, they certainly have the votes.

Trump won't cooperate like an innocent man would because he's guilty. And coercing a foreign government to drum up dirt on your strongest political opponent is most definitely a high enough crime for impeachment.

But if such actions make no difference to you, nothing anyone can say will sway you.

I like Comey.. He is a devout Catholic with 4 children and a stellar career history. He is also principled and well educated. He doesn't tweet.. He works.

He and Trump are NOTHING alike.. I hope you aren't so jaded that you think all men are like Trump. He's not too bright and poorly educated in addition to his lack of scruples. Trump has more in common with Momar Ghaddafi than any American man.

My axe to grind with Comey is that:

    A) After not finding enough evidence to indict Hillary Clinton over mishandling State Department emails, he nevertheless made a big point of publicly excoriating her for her non-crime.

    B) In October 2016, he again felt compelled to put her back into a negative light when Anthony Weiner's laptop was found to contain a few of those emails, and even though they turned out to ne nothing but copies of stuff already investigated, he pulled no punches just days before the election.

    C) Meanwhile, Comey never once mentioned to we the voters that he and the FBI were currently investigating the Trump campaign for conspiracy to defraud the U.S.

If that makes me jaded in your opinion, so be it, but I'm not going to excuse Comey for throwing the election towards Trump, no matter how nice he may seem or what a good family man he appears to be.

Indefensible. His only defense is the lack of standards among his followers.

Okay, tell us, what exactly did Biden do? When? And back it up with proof, please ... proof that did. not come from a right wing spin factory.

He is on tape bragging about it, how on earth have you not seen it? Here, allow Biden to tell you himself. Do you actually expect the left to cover it? lol
If Trump had done the same, your head would explode.

The corruption of Joe Biden is crystal clear both in Ukraine and China. BTW Hunter just resigned from the board in the Chinese Company.

I don't give a **** if Trump is saved or not.

But I do love the fact that a non conformist is giving it right back to the liberal *******s in D.C.

Liberals are the biggest threat to individual freedoms, and prove it every day.

Yes, you're big on evidence. Like the evidence cited to in the Mueller Report.

Yessir. You certainly acknowledged the evidence!

Question, pretend one of Trump's sons was being paid about 80K a month to do some job he knew not the first thing about, then he was being investigated and Trump tells them they have 6 hours to fire the prosecutor or he will with hold their aid $ and goes on film bragging about it....but no, lets impeach Trump for wanting that investigated...
