    The President: I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike... I guess you have one of your wealthy people... The server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you're surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. As you saw yesterday, that whole nonsense ended with a very poor performance by a man named Robert Mueller, an incompetent performance, but they say a lot of it started with Ukraine. Whatever you can do, it's very important that you do it if that's possible.

    Who is Trump's contender here, Crowdstrike? Are you now against the investigation of meddling with our elections after you were for it?

    I think there will be a bigger stain on democrats everyone in the country knows how theyve lied and made it up as they go along.

    The bigger point of all this is he remains in office and has a chance at re election.

    Thats the next paragraph, which is the next time he started talking. Once Zenlenski started talking, then Trump’s part of the conversation he starts asking about Biden, which is the part about the “favor”.

    And FTR, why is crowdstrike part of any conversation with the Ukrainians ? and the biggest question of all, that no-one on the right is evens a dressing when asked is, WHY is the Presidents private lawyer doing any official US business in a foreign country ? AND WHY, is Trump personal Lawyer tied to 2 RUSSIANS accused of campaign finance violations ? And those 2 also have ties to the Ukraine.....

    <Mod Edit> Trump's "do me a favor quote" had absolutely nothing to do with the Bidens. Your entire claim that "do us a favor" was QPQ, ludicrous as it was to begin with is now totally destroyed as it was NOT followed by a request to investigate the Bidens, you made it up.

    The left's claim that Trump said "do us a favor, investigate the Bidens" has bern exposed as a fabrication, easily verifiable by the transcript.

    Poor clowns, they merged two unrelated quotes and thought we wouldn't notice, things must look bad in the liberal bubble if they are reduced to resorting to such ludicrous cheating. Lol

    So, what you are saying is that:

    Since the mention of The Bidens didn't IMMEDIATELY Follow the "do us a favor" quote (and appeared later in the convo) that it is unrelated?

    You are certainly entitled to your opinion.

    In my opinion, it is UNDENIABLE that "do us a favor, though" and "looking into" Biden's Son, are RELATED (even though the Ukr Prez had an intervening comment) it is CLEAR that Trump STAYED on the Subject of the "favor" (and then mentioned Biden's son).

    I guess we will have to agree to disagree. :salute:

    As the "do us a favor" statement goes on to suggest something totally unrelated and uncontroversial and the mentioning of the Biden corruption takes place a few minutes later, in a separate exchange and is not preceded by "do us a favor".... yeah they are unrelated lol

    But hey. What can the left do if they announced impeachment before they read the transcript and now their case has blown up into their faces and they desperately want to turn "do us a favor" idiom into an impeachable offense. Lol

    The fact that Biden was (no more though) a primary contended is coincidental. Was there nothing to investigate about Bidens, there were no reasons to ask about favors...right?

    There may have been reason, but asking a foreign country to do that while using your power as president to coerce that is illegal.

    And just so were clear here....are you honestly OK with a sitting president asking a foreign power to help them in a US election ? Because I’m pretty sure if that was President Hillary you would be beyond enraged and probably willing to have another civil war over it ;)

    Trump said "do us a favor, investigate Ukraine's meddling in our election in 2016 and Crowdstrike".

    No, I'm not OK with the sitting president asking a foreign power to help them in a US election. Try Trump and convict him; until then, I believe Trump when he said he wanted to investigate a thoroughly corrupted Bidens.

    THat's in his job description, you know :)

    Just like right after Biden Jr. went to China with his papa, and got himself all kinds of Chinese favors? Or, right after (or thereabouts) Biden Sr. was put in charge of Ukrainian policy, Biden Jr got himself a cushy job with Ukrainian corrupt company?

    Nothing to see here, Trump was just after Bidens personally :)
