    How much taxpayer money do you think Bush pissed away while he was AWOL for the last 6 months in the military after getting a cushy job because of his daddy? He ended up being POTUS. I do not judge people for the worst thing they have ever done but the totality of their life. I don’t know much about HB but if the worst you got on him is that he was kicked out of the Military for drug use and he dated his brother’s wife after he died, that does not necessesarily make him a POS. I am sure that he has other accomplishments and some positive character traits too.

    Trump has been asking "Where's Hunter?" for a month now and bringing it up to the media repeatedly-people are paying attention.

    And what does Hunter do? Say he didn't do anything wrong-but he's going to step down.

    A lot of fence sitters will say "Aha!"

    They do it either by being large shareholders (inside members) or by being successful businessmen already (outside members) who can give good advice.

    Agreed and in combination with the specific corporations bylaws that dictate the composition of the board. For instance a biotech firm might might require one or more members have doctorates in specific sciences, require one or two lay people, successful in other areas but not necessarily in the corps area etc etc.

    Anything but normal business operation on the part of Hunter can be viewed as follows: if he and his father Joe Biden thought that everything was fine why make any concessions?

    ^^ it's not really an unfair question one could draw from this news

    Exactly! Ivanka uses Air Force One to fly around with DaDa and do business deals but for Trump fans that is ok.

    Young Bush or Shrub as he unfortunately was know as back then was not technically AWOL. He obtained permission to work on his father's campaign. Young Bush was in the TANG so the Guard can suspend the monthly reporting for duty in lieu of the member having to make up the time. Us Regular Air Force types could not get 6 months off of free leave to go work on DaDa's campaign.

    Still you Bush W did was not AWOL.

    HEY give W a break at least Bush served in the TANG ( Texas Air National Guard that is 100,000 times more than a certain POTUS whose name starts with a T did during the Vietnam War era. Remember that guy who had " bone spurs" ? He did not serve, does not serve, never will serve.

    No just being fair. No POTUS should have family working in the WH. Even In Laws should be there. After JFK pulled off the scam of making his bro Bobby AG a law was passed about no family members can be cabinet members ..Looks the law needs more teeth more restrictions.
