One of the most important plays in the game, when in the most critical part a pass and long run which put the jags close to the goal, was invalidated by the referee. The referee signaled that there had been a personal foul committed. I think we should look at the background of this whistleblower! Was he a Saints supporter in the past? Did he cheer for the Saints before he became a referee? That is important to know because we need to judge the credibility of the witness! Looks to me like another Jaguars-hater. Damn whistleblower needs to be thoroughly investigated! Don't you agree?
Sure. The integrity and ability of refs to make important judgments isn’t vetted before they are given a whistle . Poor analogy. Now if you had said some random waterboy on the sidelines called the foul after a fan pointed it out...
What????? You're obviously a jags hater too! Admit it! You just can't get over the fact that we beat your beloved Broncos!
Your analogy is good to make a point of your opinion. Even witty. That said, let's not pick on the NFL officials. After each game each and every one of their calls are reviewed by the NFL. Plus they make their calls out in the open in front of the whole world. They never make calls/accusations anonymously.
Nobody should ever ever ever investigate a whistleblower , even if the whistleblower owns the saints.
You mean like a whistleblower's call that is deemed "credible and urgent" by the IG is immediately sent to Congress for review? Hmmm... I wonder what would happen if the NFL official who finds a serious game-changing mistake asked the Official who made the bad call if he should report it or not. So you're saying that they can't claim "Executive Privilege" in order to hide when they make decisions for personal gain? Maybe we should start thinking about a way to organize the government in a way that the President can't use it as if it were just another one of the sweat shops he owns. The NFL may point to the way.
