I just may.I went grocery shopping this morning and was
going to fix Chicken Caccatori { enough for a week } but
dint like the chicken. There were almost out of their best organic
chicken breasts. So I was going to use pork. They now have small
Pork Loin { w/bone } that are vacuum sealed and taste great.
But instead decided to get some sausage and little
All Natural Italian Meatballs { Pork and beef } from Cooked Perfect.
I've used them before and they are about the best outside
of fresh made.I am going to use leftover strip steak and create
a sort of Stew. With carrots and small red potatoes and fresh
large mushrooms.Fresh garlic spread and some nice Tomato
sauce { Rustic Tomato Basil } from Lucini { no sugar added }.
I sautee in olive oil and add the sauce while adding whatever
red wine I am having.I might add egg noodles later in the week.
I really felt like Chicken Caccitore but ya gotta go with what looks
best. The mornings are cold and that also means soup in the
morning instead of my version of Eggs Benedict

    What times dinner? Im hungry?
    lol

That sounds great Foolie. You sound like you're a good cook.
Tonight we are going old school. Sauteed broccoli raab with garlic and red crushed pepper over broiled sesame seed Italian bread from the Italian store with shaved Fontina table cheese and olive oil and spinach salad with oranges, onion and walnuts.

    What year is the truck?
We had a '79 F150. We bought it used. The body was bad but it ran great and the 4WD worked great. It had that old smell and you had to manually change the hubs for the 4WD. The first time I drove it off, I had no clue that 1st gear was super low. Like I could have started in 2nd gear. I drove off with it in 1st gear waving and thinking this truck aint moving. lol Live and learn. That truck and the '89 Chevy we have are my top two favorite trucks we have had.

I heard this song and it made me think about a time when my brother thought he was so cool. I was sitting on the front porch steps with a friend of mine and my brother pulls up in this supped up car he was working on and refused to give me a ride in lol. He pulls up. Stops and revs the engine. Next thing there is a small explosion and a ball of fire came out of the exhaust. I laughed so hard then and again now typing it.
The things you remember on Columbus Day.

Good singer, real smooth voice. However his acting suffered from his
constant relying on his persona as being Mr.Hipster.Hipper than Hip.
Coolest guy on the set.Even in - Hell is for Heroes - { 1962 }.
Which I bought last year some time.I wrote about Steve McQueen's
role at this pop stand.McQueen had one of his more Ironic roles.
He plays the Hero character in a non traditional Hollywood fashion.

I just read yesterday at Imdb an actor who thought Dean Martin was
about the Nicest actor he ever knew.
Oh yeah ... It was Hollywood tough guy { William Smith } talking about
another tough guy { Neville Brand }.Brand was kind of a big mouth and
snarky talker but he was also " one of the most highly decorated soldiers in
WWII.Often cited as The 4th most decorated soldier in WWII."
He was about the last guy one would consider an Intellectual.
But he owned one of the Biggest private libraries in Hollywood.
With over 5,ooo books.Once owned over 30,ooo until a Malibu
fire destroyed most in his home.
Smith said he respected Brand mostly because of his service
heroism.Smith was also a courageous enlisted man.Plus probably
The Strongest and toughest actor on record.
Saying ... " Dean Martin was one of the nicest guys I ever met in
    my life."

Harry Belafonte was always a super egocentric prick.
    To this day.A typical troublemaker.
    I've seen all his movies { hasn't that many }
and need a copy of one of my most favorite late 50's
    movies - Odds Against Tomorrow - { 1959 }.
My kind of movie.Starring Robert Ryan,Ed Begley and
    Harry Belafonte.

20191014_091953.jpg This is one of my projects.? The pipe going through the wall is new. I cut through the wall with a hammer and chisel. I will put the pump in the lowest point and pump the water to the highest point. It will then fall from the top "pan" and fall on rocks . Then through the pipe onto more rocks in the bottom pond. We have free water for under 2000 gallons a month so it will be filled with rainwater. When I am sure the bottom pond doesn't leak I will.add plants. At least that's the plan.

I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean that they won't be jammed against the house?

Yes.... People often make the mistake of planting to close to the house. It looks great.... Then plants grow... you can't get close to the house ... to paint... work on windows etc.
