See how it makes it much easier to supply a link along with the data?
Instead of calling one incompetent or lazy for not going to find the work you supply.

At any rate, you are welcome to your opinion.
I would bet today's 20 somethings are much smarter than 70 somethings.

Most are liberated in some way when they find out there's a whole big world out there.
And different types of people and lifestyles.

Sorry brother, I didn't use the link you provided. I used the footnote at the bottom of the graph you provided.

Every single graph, educational ranking, rate of graduation, piece of data, test results, poll, editorial etc completely disagrees with you on this one.

Forty years ago parents didn't have to employ a SAT scam to get their children into a state university. We didn't need to implement the "Keep No Child Behind." One needed to maintain a 3.0 to compete in scholastic athletics.

Today we have parents paying upwards of $500k just to have the SAT scores forged so that their children will be accepted to a state university. What a joke. What does it take to get into UCLA? A 900? That's friggin pathetic if a high school graduate can't score 900 on their SAT. Today an entire class will spend 3 weeks learning 3+3=6 because of one student's lack of learning. Today a high schooler can play any school sport no matter what GPA they're carrying otherwise it's racist.

What the SAT charts above show us is that the scores vary greatly depending on how the College Board structures the test and organizes its scoring.

The years of study that a student engages in matter. The more years of secondary education someone has completed, the better her average score on the SAT will be. Higher GPA also correlates with higher SAT scores.

Generally, Critical Reading (now just called Reading on the redesigned SAT) has taken an overall decline, whereas the Math score has risen slightly over time. There are of course small fluctuations throughout the years, but the overall trend is clear.

Actually, Math has stayed pretty steady over the last 57 yrs. According to SAT scores.

The nation doesn't want a strong education system, but one that equalizes outcomes of the races.

That is why DeBlasio is dismantling the cities exam schools.

Yes, but we're still crediting them with forward thinking. These are spoiled and stupid people. They're what happens when you remove all imperative for survival. You create a race of 'functioning imbeciles', motivated by the most outrageous vanities.

I've found the opposite can be true. It's often the 'frequent traveler' who is the least tolerant, and the least able to embrace alternative worldviews and cultures.
