    We are weird.

The property lines do not coincide with the lot lines. One lot extends ten feet onto my property. Then, the next lot line extends into my other neighbor's property.

After that, there is a house behind me. We share that lot (those lot parts).from front to back. He has a half address. The big, ugly cover on the left is his meter.

The cement block were donated by my neighbor and the walls were done in river rock, sand, and cement. Most of the sand used to make the cement was from a sandblasting operation. The small rocks were bought at Home Depot and glued in one by one. Then grouted with cement. And finally , a coating of fiberglass resin. It doesn't look too bad when running. Should look better now.

Not to be confused with - The Mad Genius - { 1931 } starring the
Great John Barrymore.I ordered a copy in spring and haven't got
    around to watching.I ordered - Svengali - { 1931 } also starring Barrymore
and took my sweet time watching.I savor Barrymore performances.
He was a dynamic man.A great lover of animals.Hollywoods version of
    St.Francis of Assisi.
Barrymore had many birds,an opossum, a mouse deer,
    a monkey that bite people and 6 dogs.And a Vulture { his favorite pet }
He named " Moloney ". It would sit on Barrymore's lap and " kiss ".
{ Liked to rub noses with John }.
Barrymore's Genius will never be duplicated.
" I wouldn't be in yer ratty little play,You cheap English ham ".
My thoughts entirely when posting ...

    " Wax on,right hand.Wax off,left hand.Wax on,Wax off.Breathe in
    through nose,out the mouth.Wax on,Wax off.Don't forget to
    breathe,very important. "
Also don't furgit to post all about it.

I went grocery shopping and bought a jar of peanut butter, went home and opened it. It was empty.

    Then, I woke up.

Most states use - metes & bounds as way to define one's property.
With telephone poles as markers.Or a metal stake just under the
ground near a sidewalk.Plus when one puts up a fence for keeping
the dog in the yard the fence has to also follow property markers as to
whose property it sits on.Lets say you put up a fence around your back yard
first. Then your neighbor attaches a fence to your fence for their side yard.
Then they owe you for attaching onto your fence and it's like a party wall.
Both parties share in the use and enjoyment of a chainlink fence. For the
    simple reason that 2 fences alongside each other { a couple inches apart }
    causes problems.

    I remember once { I've had a couple } undergoing a sobriety test.
    I had a helluva time trying to walk a straight line.But I couldn't
finish the alphabet.I got all the way to the end and forgot the last
couple letters.I drew a blank.I think I need to brush up on that.
I felt really silly.Like I was back in 1st grade.I also got popped
back in the mid 70's on my motorcycle driving home from a little
corner bar I liked on weeknights.I decided to go to a 7/11
and get a bag of chips and a quart of beer after leaving the bar.
As I left the 7/11 parking lot with a brown paper bag with the chips
& beer nestled tightly between my legs I pulled out real quick,
smack dab in front of a cop cruiser.I acted nonchalant
and looked in my rearview mirror and sure enough the cop stopped
and put on it's lights and turned around in my direction.I quickly
slowed down and tossed the brown paper sack onto the side of road where
there was tall grass like a field.I figured the cops never saw it because it was
like 10:30 at night and they were down the block a ways. But they rushed
to pull me over and did the cop thing.I was really thinking about making a run for it.
There were 2 cops. One put handcuffs on me { like real tight } as I was
hunched over the cop cruiser and the other went over to the side of the road.
Sure enough he managed to find that brown sack with the beer & Chips.
So I got arrested and had to have a buddy bail me out.I think it ended up
costing like $ 450 bucks to have a family lawyer get a lawyer for me.
A Lawyer that was familiar with that court room and the judge.I remember
the first time I appeared in court I dint have a lawyer and asked for
a continuance. But this 2nd time cost $ 450.The Lawyer got me off and
signaled to meet him around the corner outside the court room for his
money.I felt like it was not how this kinda thing was done.It felt fishy.
I had to borrow money from a couple people I worked with at my
Grandmother's Trucking company.I could never ask my mom or
grandmother for the dough. That beer and chips ended up with the buddy
who bailed me out.He was a big beer drinker.

Could those 10 foot variances actually be utility right-of-ways? They are usually 10 feet wide.....

No. The neighborhood was plotted out into uniform, designated lots. My property bears no resemblance to the plots it sits on.

    Here's the county's legal description:

    "E20' OF S87' LT 15 & W10' OF S87' LT 16"

For clarity, that means: The eastern 20 feet of the southern 87 feet of lot 15. Plus the western 10 feet of the southern 87 feet of lot 16.

I believe that the platted lots are 50ft by 150ft.
